The truck I was packed very tightly and survived a 690-mile trip with no shifting or breakage. We had scheduled them for two hours but it took a little over 3 hours because our granddaughter was moving also and they wanted to assist us in her move, which we were most grateful for. Overall, excellent service and personalities. We would certainly recommend them to friends and family who are planning moves.
One strong recommendation: make sure everything is packed in various size totes and/or boxes before you schedule the help ... (they don't want to have to pack things for you) and the various sizes do help them get things stacked/packed tightly.

We had a fabulous experience with John and Keith.
This was a last minute reservation - I made the reservation at 4pm for a 9am start the next morning having been let down by a different company through Hire A Helper. John immediately called me to confirm which was really important given our prior let down.
We had a 26ft moving container to move, and the team from A Plus worked fast, but with great care for our furniture, and spent time building all of our major pieces of furniture.
Hiring John was the best decision we made through our entire cross-country move.
