I’d definitely use hireahelper again because the price was good. The guys left scuffs and dents in my walls and a number of my items ended up with busted corners. I also asked them to start by helping me with a bed. One of the guys worked on it for an hour and never finished. They ended up leaving it where it was without ever telling me and I had to take care of it by myself after they left. I also tried to be as accommodating as possible by letting them out all my boxes in the garage. Instead of stacking them against walls though, they just made skyscrapers in the center of my garage. It took me the rest of the day to try and get everything moved by myself to the edges. They also made me feel like I was obligated to give them tips at the end of service even though I felt somewhat used. I noticed I could add a tip onto the hireahelper invoice but they said I should do Venmo so they didn’t get charged tax. They wouldn’t leave until they made sure I paid the invoice and then quickly left as soon as they saw I had paid hireahelper and they got their Venmo notifications. After that they walked off down my driveway complaining about “well onto the next job….” I would use hire a helper but probably not one of the guys who came out. James Hoen was actually pretty nice, worked hard and not pushy. All of my issues or negative feelings are stemming from Matthew Bonds.

These guys were great! They were on time, they worked very hard. It was a very hot, almost record-breaking hot day and they still worked continuously. We had them take a couple of water breaks and lunch break but that was all. We had a lot of stuff so they were here for 6 hours during the hottest part of the day and never complained. They were also very nice. If I ever move again (I hope not!) I will use them.

Called to let me know they were on their way. Did a great job getting all the items in the container. Took time to make sure items were not squished. The two movers had good personalities as moving can be stressful and they brought their A game.

They totally didn’t pack things in very well and all and because of it, a lot of my things didn’t fit into the moving truck. Now I’m having to get a small storage units just to store what didn’t fit and then use a pod or something to get it across several states. Major headache. I would never use them again ever.
