I have used Big Boys before and they have been excellent each time. This time I had a small job but paid for two hours as I thought I would get the same excellent service.
On this occasion, the two movers seemed in a hurry. They also seemed less experienced and skilled than the previous Big Boy movers. They managed to bump a wall and leave marks and remove paint and when moving some boxes to clear the way to move a bookcase, left them in a doorway where it was difficult for me to move them due to an injury that the movers knew about.
I would still use Big Boys again, as the previous movers were great. However, I recommend that the two movers in question need additional training to meet Bog Boy's high standards.

They were an hour late but they called me 2 hours before the scheduled time to let me know they would be late. We had a lot of stuff and they worked really hard to unpack the uhaul truck we had. They were professional and knowledgeable with what they needed to do.

The 2 young men we hired started out in a very conscientious manner. They handled our heavy furniture carefully as they removed it from the house. However, they hurried in their efforts to load the truck and several pieces of furniture ended up with a number of scratches. When it came time to unload the truck their first priority was unload the truck as quickly as possible. The great majority of boxes were clearly marked as to which room or area of the house they were to be placed. In most instances the movers simply stacked the boxes in the garage! They achieved their objective, which was to get the job completed as quickly as possible, but they lost the opportunity for 'big boy movers' to ever to another move for us.
