These guys did an amazing job unloading our moving trailer! One of the straps in the moving truck broke during transit causing everything to shift which made it very difficult (and probably dangerous) to unload but they were able to get it done safely and quickly. The team was also very respectful and even alerted me when my special needs 6 year old tried to bolt out the open door. I don't plan on moving again for a long time but when I do, I will absolutely use Southern Hospitality Movers.

I called them after they were late by 30 minutes to get a status. The provided number was for one their movers, I’m guessing, he said they didn’t have a job from Hire A Helper and would need to confirm with the office manager, 30 minutes later after no response, I called again to no answer and no vmail available. I called the secondary number provided and spoke with Angel, the office manager, who stated she had not been contacted by the mover person I spoke with, and was unable to contact the owner or any of their movers, no one was answering their phones. Angel said she’d call me back 30 minutes, but did not. Then Hire A Helper called and informed me that Southern Hospitality Movers had canceled my move. No notice, no call, no nothing. This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced with any type of service provider. I will never use Southern Hospitality Movers and most definitely will not recommend them to anyone.

If I could give them a negative 5 I would. They flat out stood me up. As I sat around waiting for them to show between their 8-9:00am window there was zero communication as to when they would be showing up. Typically when I have used Hire A Helper the service providers have always reached out to say the ETA. At 9:15 I contacted Hire A Helper to find out what was going on. They got back to me saying the company would call me to tell me what happened. I thought what? I just need to know an ETA? Twenty minutes later Hire A Helper calls me back again and tells me that Southern Hospitality Movers told them I called Southern Hospitality directly to cancel 4 days earlier - A TOTAL LIE. I had been getting confirmation emails the entire time, event that morning from Hire A Helper stating they should have been on their way. So despite them already charging my account for services Southern Hospitality did not contact me, did not show up, lied about me cancelling, and left me in a huge predicament as I needed to move that day and Hire A Helper couldn't find anyone to fill in for them. Total scum of a company, clearly not reputable, will probably just change their name and continue to scam customers. I am still trying to get a refund for services not rendered. Zero recourse for there actions so I not only will not ever use Southern Hospitality Movers again but I will probably never use Hire A Helper again either.

Didn’t show on Saturday. Rescheduled them to Sunday. Showed up late on Sunday. No uniform, no masks.
Job was completed and things moved where asked.
Glad they finished, so we can move on.
