We scheduled Rigo's Moving & Storage to move our 2-bedroom apartment into a 15' truck. We packed up almost everything before they arrived; the only remaining things to pack up were to break down our bed and wrap a few pieces of furniture.
Our two movers spent the first 1.5 hours of our scheduled 2-hour time breaking down our bed. During this time, they were chatting and disagreeing on how things should be packed the entire time. It took them a total of 4 hours to wrap our few pieces of remaining furniture and bring everything down to our lawn. They also did not wrap the pieces well, and most of our furniture was scraped and damaged on the journey.
We only had a few blankets and needed to buy more. They quoted us a certain price for the blankets ($14 for 10) and the saran wrap, but we were charged far more. Overall, the communication on their end was incredibly subpar.
When we FINALLY, started packing the truck, they started packing our most fragile items first that were labeled FRAGILE, and we told them were fragile, in the least secure place where they could easily fall and break. In fact, several of our fragile items (wine glasses) did break due to this exact problem.
We had to tell them exactly how to pack the truck, which again ate into our allotted time. The people who were supposed to be the professionals had to be advised by the clients on how the truck should be packed.
When we started asking questions about who these guys were, we found out they were primarily construction workers, and for one of the two of them, this was his first time moving furniture ever. The two movers were nice enough but not confident in their skills as this was not their normal work.
The best part is, we got charged an additional $500 because of the two employees we were assigned.
I will never use Rigo's again, nor would I recommend them, but maybe they have better employees that we were not fortunate enough to work with because they have such great reviews.

We are a professional moving company where our clients always come first. Our customers can expect an amazing job outcome by our movers because we are trained and have the proper materials needed for the job.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our customers can expect a well prepared crew with all the materials needed for their move. They can also expect to be stress free during their move because of how reliable our movers are.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Customers should prepare for the day of the move depending on what services they get/want. We reccomend that clients remove clothing from drawers, wardrobes, etc, to make the items less heavy for our movers. Always label your boxes. We also recommend to speak with our project manager about materials needed for the job to have them ready for the day of the move. Lastly, feel free to ask questions with our project manager about any concerns to be informed on what to do the day of the move.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Our favorite part of being a mover is seeing the relief on our clients face after getting the job done. We love being able to make our clients move stress free as much as possible.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We provide all of our employees with a one month training program at our head quarters to help them gain experience by teaching them good communication skills, how to pack fragile items into boxes, move heavy items using the proper equipment, stack the trucks or containers using every inch of space, etc.
