We strive to provide 5 star service on every move. We are careful who we send into your home, around your family and to handle your property, we offer background checked helpers, checked through Hireahelper. INSURANCE through Hireahelper covers goods while being handled by our helpers up to $.60 per pound (policy must be activated by completing an inventory form). Full coverage insurance also available through Hireahelper. We'll never leave you stranded! If late we'll send extra helpers to make up time at no cost when possible. The actual moving part was fine, but contacting the company was very difficult and the movers themselves didn't know any of what I had communicated with the office the day before. Also, the movers were aggressively pressing for tips afterwards.

Hire a helper and proMove were excellent. We underestimated the time we would need and ProMove had a problem with a no-show worker. ProMove fixed the problem, adding another worker for a total of three which helped expedite our move and solved our underestimation problem! The payment is for man-hours and is not per worker. We also tipped generously because the guys were working in 86 degree heat and had to travel to both of load and unload locations. Overall, with our truck rental and the proMovers we spent about $700 less than if we hired a moving company.

They did not come with any equipment at all. No hand truck, no furniture paddings, nothing...just themselves. There was plenty of room to pack more things but we ended up having to overload our car and the front of the truck to accommodate all of our belongings. Almost all the furniture was damaged at arrival of the new address. They asked to be paid in cash and had my husband drive to the bank to pay them. They were very pleasant and polite as well. I was turned off when I was told about paying them in cash for the extra 2 hours added to the job and was also told not to tell his boss just in case he called me. Luckily I don't live in that area anymore, but now I have a ton of furniture to refinish.
We cannot provide furniture pads, furniture pads would need to be provided by you the customer to protect your items. Hand trucks are basically useless on stairs so that crew was not dispatched with any. Sorry again

They were so helpful and made the move seamless. They were able to move very heavy objects in a tight stairwell up four flights of stairs. It was very impressive how they were able to move up my furniture and all my boxes in under 2 hours. I am very appreciative of their help!
