Lewis Moving Company did an efficient job of unloading my 16' pod and placing things where I needed them. They were quick and efficient, and professional. I only wished I had scheduled them for the 2 hours instead of for 4, as they finished in 2 and I had to pay for an extra hour per the policy.

George and Eli were on time and worked very hard to load our truck on a VERY HOT day. They were respectful to our property and took care of all of the loading!
One comment - I did not realize they would not have a hand truck or tape, but it worked out.

The crew arrived on time. They did a pretty good job of packing my PODS to the brim, but there were some issues:
- I pointed out some items that were hard to access or needed special handling on the initial walk-through, such as an antique bed frame in the above garage attic space. This was left, and not wrapped or packed. I pointed it out because I wanted special care for it... but it was ignored.
- they sometimes moved one part of an item, and forgot the other part. This happened with a few items, and I had to point out that they had missed part of it. eg. they packed the aquarium but left the base until I pointed it out
- I also had to point out when they had left items in rooms that were supposed to be cleared
- one of the workers left their trash in my house (this was after I bought lunch and drinks for them) and one left a knife in my garage
- I found parts to bookcases etc. that they had left behind
- I told them that I could go and get more packing supplies from Home Depot if they were needed -their excuse was that they didn't have enough wrap to pack some things... but they never asked me to get more.
To be fair, I did contact the owner by phone about 2 hours later and he said that was why we did the walkthrough at the end. However, the walkthrough was right at the end of the four hour window and I didn't want to pay for extra time for them to fix the things they missed. I feel that with shorter breaks, they could have accomplished more, and been more thorough.
All in all, I wouldn't use them again. It felt like they did the minimum required, and didn't really listen to my initial walkthrough. In my opinion, a truly professional crew would keep items together that belong together, and be sure to pack items the owner specifically pointed out to them. I felt like I had to follow them around to make sure they were being thorough... and they weren't.

Supposed to arrive 12-1 pm call night before said they were overbook but would be there. Showed up at six threw
stuff I had ready to load in the pod which
didn’t quite fill the pod all within 1/2 hour.
Recommend using a sheet plywood and straps to secure the load, at which time I let them go.

They were on time, friendly, curtious, and very hard working. We had lots of heavy tools to unload from a PackRat Container that needed to be parked on the street and all items had to be moved up a steep hill to our garage. They finished way ahead of schedule.

The gentlemen who came to help load my pod arrived on time, they were courteous and super fast loading things up despite it being a really hot day. They did a fantastic job, I definitely would recommend to anyone in the area.
