Unprofessional. Called the day before trying to get a later time and were annoyed when I told them no since I had scheduled my time a month in advance. They got held up at another job the morning of my move and continued to let the other job add more hours which ran into my time. Indicated that it was their policy to allow add on hours even if there is another job scheduled that day. Was not helpful in finding a replacement. Would not recommend.

I work for a storage container company and Verlys is the company I used and the company I recommend to my customers. They were courteous, professional and worked quickly on an extremely hot day.

They weren’t on time and did not have the required tools to move my furniture. They supposedly had a “no call no show” of a worker and had someone fill in who worked extremely hard. Would I use them again, heck no. If they are still in business do not use this company they are unreliable and excuses after excuses. I hired this company prior to experiencing all this to unload a second POD the following day and they no call no show. Fortunately enough HireAHelper has someone waiting in the wings if something like this happens. Bravo HireAHelper!

The one guy, Zack, did a good job. The other guy can’t remember his name spent more time on his cell phone than working. Both of us, and Zack, said stuff to him about the phone but he continued. He took videos of himself and was constantly on it. We were not pleased at all with his performance. If it hadn’t been for Zack we would have rated the service even lower. The one guy broke the legs to a favorite table and the wicker on a chair. Haven’t seen the PODs yet so who knows if he broke more. They were 15 minutes late and took several cigarette breaks. I would let that one guy go if I owned the company. I would not use this moving company again.

VERLYS PRO MOVING LABOR does NOT train their movers. They DO NOT provide them with the equipment They need to move heavy furniture. A dolly us not sufficient! Straps They wear would save their backs. They were very nice, but had no idea how to move furniture or pack a truck. There are gashes in my walls and dings and scratches on my furniture. They put everything into the middle of the room so we had to move all the boxes to be able to set up the room. Until they train their movers HOW to move and pack I would not recommend them.

They were within the allotted window of time and called ahead to say they would be there. They took great care of my belongings which I greatly appreciated! I didn't think it would all fit into the enclosed trailer we had, but with their expertise, they managed to get it all in with room left over. Everything made it safely to our destination 5 hours away. I would highly recommend them for anyone wanting movers and cannot lift themselves.
