(BBB Accredited) We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, even on all major holidays. We offer Moving support, Product delivery, Assembly, Packing/Unpacking. Any items you no longer have use for will be taken away and donated to local charities at no additional fee. 2 man crew Available on Sundays and Mondays Only other days 1 man only. We typically arrive in a 24ft box truck that is not part of our hire a helper service but can be used if needed for no additional cost.

Using the "HireAHelper" website we had selected "Rent-A-Friend Labor Services" to help us unload our storage containers. Mr. John Normandin and his crew were very respectful, friendly, and took excellent care of furniture and personal items. John and his crew were on time and prepared to handled the job. What I liked about John, he took the time to call us in advance to get a clear understanding of items they would be moving. I sure this helped them in being prepared for the job. I want to thank John and his team again for the outstanding job they have provided! We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

I'm writing this review for myself and my mother, who is 84. I contacted John (from Rent-A-Friend Labor Services) to unload pods full of furniture, boxes and large paintings we had shipped across country to my parents new home in Arizona. He was very friendly, professional and accommodating--he worked with us when we had to switch the moving date, due to some complications on our end, and was flexible in rescheduling and quick to get back to us. After the job was finished, my mother told me that "they were really great, absolutely GREAT!" She said they were hard workers, worked quickly and were really considerate. John cleared out some older furniture that had been left in the house, to make room for the new (and took the unwanted furniture away afterward, which was a great combined service for us). They were good in placing the incoming boxes and furniture where my mother wanted them. I really appreciate that, over and above the excellent unloading and moving service they provided, they were so good with my parents, who are both in their eighties. My mother was very happy with the service and my sister plans on using their services when her daughter moves out in the near future. Definitely 5 stars for great service!

They were on time, went right to work. Will unloading our POD, they showed that they really cared about our items and was very careful with them. I needed to have one item moved into a room that it would not fit through the door, they found away to make it work and did not damage the item or door. I will always make sure I use them when I need help moving items.

Rent a Friend was on time and even brought a small trailer to help us move a few items from the location we were staying before heading to our new house to unload a POD storage unit. They had pads and rope to transport our items safely. They worked very hard and treated our furniture with care. I would use them again for moving or other labor jobs that come up.

These guys showed up early, stayed as long as I needed them and were unbelievable!! When they showed up, they were ready to work - walked around the house assessing the situation and started in, never stopping until the job was done.
There is no way I would have got the things packed nearly as well as these guys did!! I'm telling you, professional, hardworking guys are hard to come by - I would recommend them to anyone I know and I will use them again!!

They were running behind but he called to let me know the adjusted time and arrived on time for the new time given. I hired two workers for 6 hours but didn't use all of the time. John offered to refund unused hours and although I declined, the offer was a nice gesture. They worked extremely hard, moving from a third floor apt to another third floor apt. I felt so bad that I assisted with carrying smaller items up and down the stairs. I have a lot of fragile items and John took special care of loading them on the truck so they would transport without damage. A few items ended up with dirt on them but that's to be expected. I would definitely use them again...especially since John knows what he'd be getting himself into :)

The workers got to our house on time and reviewed the work to be done. After they review, they started working very organized. Two men took everything out to the pods, while one man loaded. They worked hard and well organized. They were very respectful of our property and goods. If we need men again to do this work, I would sure ask for them.

The two men arrived punctually, were courteous and professional in their approach to the job. Very efficient in getting the work completed and handled every item as if it were their own! We would certainly hire this crew again and will recommend them to our friends and family! Kudos.
