(BBB Accredited) We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, even on all major holidays. We offer Moving support, Product delivery, Assembly, Packing/Unpacking. Any items you no longer have use for will be taken away and donated to local charities at no additional fee. 2 man crew Available on Sundays and Mondays Only other days 1 man only. We typically arrive in a 24ft box truck that is not part of our hire a helper service but can be used if needed for no additional cost.

John and his assistant called an hour before the scheduled time, arrived a few minutes early and completed the job in less time than I anticipated. I would definitely use them again as well a reccomend them to a friend.

John and Chris are very professional and friendly. They even did a little lifting to help me out that went above and beyond the call of duty!
All furniture was wrapped and padded for a 1-1/2 mile trip between houses. Everything arrived in excellent condition.
Fortunately, they tolerated my indecisiveness about where I wanted to place the furniture in the new house. They prefer to complete the job as quickly as possible to save the customer money, so the more organized you are, the quicker the job gets done.
Do not hesitate to call this service. They will take care of the customer!

As a single female, I relied on my hireahelper.com pro to move the contents of a three bedroom home into storage. I have quite a few large, heavy pieces that I couldn't possibly move on my own. I originally planned to move early one morning but was quite sick the night before the big move. I text John at 4am to inform him that I needed to postpone. He was able to push the move back one day even though he had another move that morning scheduled. Once they arrived, they padded and loaded my furniture. Only using two men instead of the three I'd ordered and paid for - John volunteered to call and reduce the fee on hireahelper.com. When I called once the job was completed the fee was changed. I would use them again and recommend them to friends and family. OHHH - they also collected all of my donations that I would have had to get rid of since no other non-profit was able to pick up the items for weeks. THANKS!

John and Chris were awesome. They arrived on time and worked steadily the entire time. They were very pleasant to have in my house. After moving a large, heavy china cabinet to a new location, it was clear that it would not work there. They moved it to the second location without any complaint, and then readjusted it as well. Way better than trying to have a relative, who would have had lots to say!
I will have them back again and will tell everyone else about their service as well. This was money well spent.

John and company were terrific . . .they had the truck unload in under 2 hours. Nothing was damaged. Really nice guys to deal with - would strongly recommend them to anyone needing assistance. They confirmed time & address the night before, worked like slaves, were polite and easy to deal with.

Overall, the best move I've made. Helpers were on time worked fast and did a great job. They wrapped funiture and took special care with heavey wood items. Also helped set up and rearange furniture in new home. Will recomend to anyone looking for help moving or other services. Very professional!

John Normandin was awesome! All of my friends bailed on me, so I had no choice but to hire a mover the night before our move. John was so flexible and prompt. He even gave us a wake-up call in the morning so we'd be ready. There was an issue with my fridge and the water source, but John handled the situation perfectly and everything got moved faster than I expected. He even moved my piano! Every other mover charges extra for that! I would definitely recommend John and Rent-A-Friend Labor Services AND I will hire them the next time I move. Don't waste your time waiting for your friends to show up, just Rent-A-Friend!
