I needed my move completed on Wednesday afternoon. They were late to my house, but communicated that the previous move was taking longer, which was fine. The move was completed when I needed it finished. They worked very hard. They were careful with all my furniture. They were thoughtful, excellent communicators, and made sure everything was completed so that I was satisfied. I absolutely would use them again.

Malcolm and Jacob showed up on time and worked fast to load my POD. They were organized and used every inch of the POD and tied down things to make it safe for travel and when we need to unload this later.

I remember I was supposed to have and paid for them having stuff for wrapping up my material. They had nothing. I had to use my ratchet straps and I they didn’t have any blankets. They didn’t have anything to cover my stuff, and I thought that was included in the price. Am I gonna be getting a discount on this because I supplied the blanket one blanket and I’ve got some other ones that I’m going to be using were they supposed to be bringing the stuff?

The guys that moved us out of our space did a marvelous job! They were all on time, very professional and hard working. They took a great deal of care of our things and stored them in two PODS we had delivered. They got everything from our business loaded in these two PODS with the exception of 2-fold up tables. The way they utilized the space within the PODS was remarkable! I would definitely encourage anyone wanting to move out of their home or business to highly consider working with Hire A Helper movers.

When a customer books with 5-Star Movers, they can expect a prompt phone call to go over the details of the move, and discuss what the best options are for the customer to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer should expect a crew that moves their items quickly and efficiently, while also being lighthearted and able to joke around with them and have fun on the moving day.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should prepare for moving day by making sure they have plenty of ratchet straps and blankets so our team can come in and make sure all of their items are packed as securely and safely as possible. If it is a larger apartment complex, we advise that they reserve a freight elevator for use during their move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all types of moves from long distance full-service jobs to California, office moves, full PODs packs, and even just moving a couch around in a house. We can do it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is the variation in environment from day to day. Sometimes I could be working at a 8000 square foot mansion with a 6 man crew, other days I could be working at a studio apartment with one other person. Every day is truly different, and that's what makes it exciting!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members all know how to use basic tools for assembly and disassembly, they know how to use moving equipment such as dollies and shoulder straps to make the move smoother. Our experienced guys are very good at loading trucks, and show the new people how to do it so they can one day be a great loader as well. We also prioritize attention to detail and will miss out on jobs sometimes rather than ever sending a crew we don't believe is 5-Star quality.
