The young men that showed up arrived on time and ready to work. After they assessed the load of stuff I had to move, they calmed my mind when they said, "yes, we can get everything into your 26" truck, but it will be full". They had a solid packing plan and when I drove my u-haul to my new place, they were already there ready to unload. All three guys worked really hard non-stop on a hot day. It look a total of 5 1/2 hours to get everything loaded and unloaded and they never complained and were willing do help in every way I needed it. They did an outstanding job and I would most definately hire them again if I needed moving labor help. They came with all the moving things they needed except moving blankets which I had 8 can could have used a few more but we made everything work.

Had 2 guys show up to load a cube of furniture. Couldn’t have gone better. Showed up on time and were practically running with my furniture. They did a great job of efficiently packing the cube. Highly recommend these guys.

These guys came earlier than what we agreed. The company texted me and asked if they could come early. This was great because I had so many things to do. I appreciate how patient they were in that I had lost my clothes in a box that was labeled and they paid close attention to finding that box in the many other boxes on the truck. I am a social worker and I asked that they place all my boxes labeled school to the front of the storage and they were great at doing that. They unloaded a 16 inch truck in a hour. They did no playing around and that was great.

When a customer books with 5-Star Movers, they can expect a prompt phone call to go over the details of the move, and discuss what the best options are for the customer to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer should expect a crew that moves their items quickly and efficiently, while also being lighthearted and able to joke around with them and have fun on the moving day.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should prepare for moving day by making sure they have plenty of ratchet straps and blankets so our team can come in and make sure all of their items are packed as securely and safely as possible. If it is a larger apartment complex, we advise that they reserve a freight elevator for use during their move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all types of moves from long distance full-service jobs to California, office moves, full PODs packs, and even just moving a couch around in a house. We can do it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is the variation in environment from day to day. Sometimes I could be working at a 8000 square foot mansion with a 6 man crew, other days I could be working at a studio apartment with one other person. Every day is truly different, and that's what makes it exciting!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members all know how to use basic tools for assembly and disassembly, they know how to use moving equipment such as dollies and shoulder straps to make the move smoother. Our experienced guys are very good at loading trucks, and show the new people how to do it so they can one day be a great loader as well. We also prioritize attention to detail and will miss out on jobs sometimes rather than ever sending a crew we don't believe is 5-Star quality.
