We had a really positive experience with 5-Star Movers. First of all, when I made the reservation, Dustin called me within 30 minutes to confirm and briefly talked through logistics. Secondly, I called them the day before to get a better sense of what time they would come and I got an immediate response, which made me feel even better about their professionalism. They were on time and FAST! They shaved an hour off of our move time compared to what other movers quoted me for the length of time it would take. They worked hard, were very careful of our things and didn't leave a mark on either house. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again. The 2 men hired arrived on time and with a great attitude. We discussed all the work we needed help with and off they went to manage the unloading and moving all furniture up one flight of stairs to our rooms. They were very considered that we had the carpets done, so they would take of their shoes as they entered the house. They were on a continuous push to get the job done. They did not waist any time nor tried to squeeze more time out of us. They were very polite, professional, and hard working people. I have moved several times and use hired help to load / unload in multiple cities, however 5 Star Movers exceeded by far above the rest.

When a customer books with 5-Star Movers, they can expect a prompt phone call to go over the details of the move, and discuss what the best options are for the customer to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer should expect a crew that moves their items quickly and efficiently, while also being lighthearted and able to joke around with them and have fun on the moving day.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should prepare for moving day by making sure they have plenty of ratchet straps and blankets so our team can come in and make sure all of their items are packed as securely and safely as possible. If it is a larger apartment complex, we advise that they reserve a freight elevator for use during their move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all types of moves from long distance full-service jobs to California, office moves, full PODs packs, and even just moving a couch around in a house. We can do it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is the variation in environment from day to day. Sometimes I could be working at a 8000 square foot mansion with a 6 man crew, other days I could be working at a studio apartment with one other person. Every day is truly different, and that's what makes it exciting!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members all know how to use basic tools for assembly and disassembly, they know how to use moving equipment such as dollies and shoulder straps to make the move smoother. Our experienced guys are very good at loading trucks, and show the new people how to do it so they can one day be a great loader as well. We also prioritize attention to detail and will miss out on jobs sometimes rather than ever sending a crew we don't believe is 5-Star quality.
