Wow! We definitely recommend 5-Star Movers. We ended up booking them at the last minute, and they did not disappoint. (We thought we could do it on our own ha!) Both gentlemen were right on time and stuck with us when we needed that extra hour. They were respectful of our property and worked hard through the heat and humidity. Highly recommend and would most definitely use again. Not only showed up on time, but a few minutes early to assess. Both movers appeared very strong and physically fit, which might sound odd, but we've hired movers before who turned out to be scrawny and not worth the hire. These two were great, super professional, and got more done in the 2 hr window than we'd even hoped.

Mike and Nick were on time, courteous, and amazingly skilled to move my appliances and a few other major furniture items into the house and basement. They also moved an old washer and dryer from the basement back up into the garage for me. They unscrewed and and later replaced doors and lids that needed to be taken off to fit through doors as well and left everything without damage and all in well working condition again. They worked fast and finished the job in well under the time I had scheduled them. I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again in the future if needed.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
When a customer books with 5-Star Movers, they can expect a prompt phone call to go over the details of the move, and discuss what the best options are for the customer to make the move go as smoothly as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer should expect a crew that moves their items quickly and efficiently, while also being lighthearted and able to joke around with them and have fun on the moving day.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The customer should prepare for moving day by making sure they have plenty of ratchet straps and blankets so our team can come in and make sure all of their items are packed as securely and safely as possible. If it is a larger apartment complex, we advise that they reserve a freight elevator for use during their move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have done all types of moves from long distance full-service jobs to California, office moves, full PODs packs, and even just moving a couch around in a house. We can do it all!
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is the variation in environment from day to day. Sometimes I could be working at a 8000 square foot mansion with a 6 man crew, other days I could be working at a studio apartment with one other person. Every day is truly different, and that's what makes it exciting!
What training do you provide your crew members?
Our crew members all know how to use basic tools for assembly and disassembly, they know how to use moving equipment such as dollies and shoulder straps to make the move smoother. Our experienced guys are very good at loading trucks, and show the new people how to do it so they can one day be a great loader as well. We also prioritize attention to detail and will miss out on jobs sometimes rather than ever sending a crew we don't believe is 5-Star quality.
