We were very pleased with Nickolas and Joseph. Nick called the day before to introduce himself and confirm our address. They showed up on time, and got to work. We were amazed how strong they were moving our belongings in our 8-room two-story house. They knew what they had to do and wre well prepared. They used blankets to protect the floor where needed. We would definitely use them again.

A-1 movers were excellent! They called me the morning up to see if they could come earlier than scheduled which worked for me.
They were very professional, introduced themselves and I walked them through the house to show them where I wanted my stuff to go. They put down moving pads and were extremely respectful of my furniture and house. They didn’t bump into any walls or door frames while they moved things, I was very impressed.
They made quick work of the heavy furniture and made it look easy. They finished up early and asked if there was anything else I needed moved while they were there.
I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends and family. They took the stress out of the last bit of my move!

A-1 Movers were great! I had to push my move back a week and when I missed that the reschedule was for 8am (too early), they called another client and managed to swap us so that I wasn't totally stuck because the storage pod hadn't arrived.
When they got there Joe & his helper were super fast, courteous and packed my stuff with great care and efficiency. My stuff is being stored for a few months and its so well packed and secured I am not worried about any of my belongings. I highly recommend them!

We hired 2 helpers to load several large pieces of furniture into a rental truck and then unload into a storage unit. The guys used moving pads to protect our stair banister when bringing items from the second floor as well as making sure the load was protected and secured for transport. We were tight on space in the storage unit but they fit everything with creative stacking. Great job!

Nicholas and Joseph did a great job helping us move out of our home into UHaul Uboxes. They were fast and packed the Uboxes efficiently. I highly recommend them. On time, helpful, courteous and prepared.
After assessing what needed to be packed, they got right to work, carefully padded all our belongings, and had us on our way in short order. We would definitely use them in the future.

Nick called me 6:55 and told me the game plan ( 2 no shows / no calls )
Nick found 2 people to fill in and was running 1/2 late
showed up when scheduled on time 20 minutes later the 2 no show arrived and jumped in . made a point to apologize to me
crew was professional and handle the appliances like it was their own
They overcame and communicated nicely -
wouldn't hesitate to work with them in the future

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years

meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
