Awesome service! Showed up on time and packed everything that nothing moved during the 600 mile drive. Owner showed up and with two guys that took apart the furniture and loaded a 3 bedroom apartment in 3 hours easy. Would highly recimmend!

The actual movers were great (I would give them five stars). The owner of the company, however, is anything but. He decided to call and berate me for asking for a partial refund which I never asked for. I had booked helpers for two hours, and early on my move day simply asked whoever picked up the phone for the company if I would get charged less if they finished the job in less than two hours. She said "no", to which I replied "OK". He then went on to whine about how he only gets a small cut of my payment due to using HireAHelper. Which is not my problem. This guy doesn't seem to be the world's brightest business owner.

A-1 Movers were fantastic. They called me right after I made the reservation to confirm all the details, and were very friendly and professional. The day before my move, I realized I had reserved my truck for the wrong time and called quite late on a Sunday night (before an 8:00 am Monday move) to see if the movers could come a bit later (not expecting to speak with anyone that night, or that the change could be made). They called me back right away and were able to adjust the start time of the movers. The movers themselves were great - fast, professional, respectful of my things, and really worked hard. I would definitely use them again.

These guys are amazing! They made our move unbelievably painless and saved us a lot of stress! I still don't know how they got all our stuff into our truck it was like magic. :-) I highly recommend that you use these guys to move!

Curtis and his crew did an outstanding job on moving, placing, organizing and securing all my stuff on a 10' truck. Best of all they were extremely careful with my stuff, they handled it like I would've done it.

Kyle and Marque were very nice and courteous. I offered coffee and a couple Gatorades on my own accord. They packed the trailer with attention to breakables and load shifting. And they took extra care with a custom made stained glass table. Thanks guys!
Another note is that A-1 called me right away and was very open as to the 3 W's (When, Where, What).

we always call on the day of the move , my crew comes in full uniform ,with shrink wrap ,dollies , and tools , professional, caring , polite and willing to help in anyway , we start by padding and shrink wrapping all of your furniture and making sure floors and walls are protected , and the we strategically pack everything into your pod or truck with great care and precision , making sure in the process your are completely comfortable and satisfied with our work
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
all you needd to do is make sure everything is in boxes , leave the rest to us , we will take care of the rest . our job is to make your move as easy and stress free as possible
What types of moves have you handled?
we had handled all types of moves , big ,small , we also do commercial moves , we handle unloading of 53ft trucks at Renewal by Anderson window company every week and have for the past 5 years
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
meeting new people , being able to help people and making them happy , we enjoy the personal touch we inflict on our customers ,
What training do you provide your crew members?
all of my men are trained with me personally for there first 3 months , so i can teach them the way we do things here at A-1 Movers , we are not like the rest , we put our heart and soul into every customer we move ,
