The movers that we used were terrific! They were on time and did a great job! I do recommend them for that. I did however also hire them to clean the house after we moved out. The woman that did the cleaning did a terrible job and I ended up paying $500 to the rental agent again to have the place cleaned. I lost my security deposit and when I contacted the provider to get the situation taken care of the never bothered to get back to me. I would NOT recommend the cleaning service as the kitchen was a disaster, the dishwasher and oven and microwave were untouched and the floors were sticky and filmy. I was willing to let the company try to rectify the situation but they refused to return calls or refund my money.

Customer gave a 5 Star Rating for Smooth Moves. They were on time, fully prepared, worked hard, took great care of items and would definitely use them again.

While they were game, and worked hard, the service was amateurish at best. After the first hour or so, they got lazy and stopped using the plastic wrap that I provided and got sloppy loading the moving van. Once the furniture arrived at the destination, many pieces were broken and had to be thrown away. Don't use them if you value your belongings. They stood on fine marble table tops and put boxes clearly labeled 'fragile' under other boxes clearly labeled 'heavy'. I used professionals on this end, and they constantly ridiculed the way the van was loaded and showed me many of the problems, including missing hardware and broken shelves, table legs, etc.

The two young men who showed up at our house were early by about 5 minutes. They came ready to work and were very, very nice. We had a 26 foot moving truck and they had it filled in two hours, getting everything in our house into the truck. The young man who did most of the organizing in the truck was fantastic. We found that when we arrived at our new home, 900 miles away, everything had stayed exactly where it was when I closed the door before leaving our old home.
The guys were very friendly and worked really hard in that two hour time frame. I was really impressed with there skill of loading and there easy going attitudes. I would use them again in a heart beat.
Thank you to Smooth Moves. It would have taken me all day to do what they did in just 2 hours.

The helpers were courteous and respectful. They were tasked with moving all of the heavy household items down three flights of steps on a very hot day, and performed the task quickly and safely without damaging any of the items. I would use them again without hesitation.

Hired 2 energetic young men who worked hard and did a wonderful job packing my 26' U-Haul. Well worth the high cost as I am not as strong as they. They fit a huge load into a truck that I had even rented a trailer in addition in case I needed more room so that saved me about $200. I am very disappointed that my grandmother's 100 year old end table suffered a leg broken clear off the table and will have to pay a furniture restorer to fix. Everything else was fine.
