We needed help loading heavy furniture into a packrat container and hired Chaz & Crew. They showed up when they said they would, worked very hard and were able to get everything into the container. They were gentlemen and if we ever move back to the area, we would definitely use them again. Also I highly recommend HireAHelper. They are a great service. We will use them in Florida to find help unloading our containers.

Chaz & Crew showed up 1.5 hours late with 4 guys instead of 2. They did NOT bring the promised equipment (hand truck, appliance Dollie & furniture pads). We specifically noted in our order that we had heavy solid wood bedroom furniture, a large refrigerator only & a freezer that would require this equipment. They ruined our downstairs floor by dragging the heavy equipment over it. They made a giant dent in the side of the frig & dented in the top of the stainless steel door. The frig was previously perfect. They chipped our railings, scraped our walls, took the edges right off the corners of our freshly painted walls & left chunks of our beautiful solid wood furniture strewn around the foyer by dragging it instead of picking it up! We had to use clean, freshly packed towels to pad our furniture, which left me with piles of towels to wash & repack! Then, their car broke down on the way to our storage facility. I had to got to the facility, empty my car in the freezing cold & drive back to pick up the movers! I found several more pieces of my bedroom furniture in the elevator at the storage place. I'm sick about that.
When they emptied the truck & finally finished the job, the head mover insisted that I release payment right away. When I questioned him he said hire-a-helper would think they were still on the clock if I didn't release the payment. I reminded them that I had 10 days, but they insisted I release payment right then, standing outside in the dark, in the freezing cold. I was not happy about that at all, but I felt really uncomfortable with 4 of them telling me to release the payment. I complained to the company immediately. I would have complained directly to Chaz since he was supposed to show up to get his movers, but over 3 hours later when we left the movers standing on the pavement outside the storage facility, he stil wasn't there. I filed a formal complaint with hire-a-helper and I'm waiting to hear back from them. I would NOT recommend this mover. I chose them because they had decent reviews, but they came no where near meeting our expectations or even providing decent service & I believe that's why they insisted I release their payment on the spot. DO NOT USE CHAZ & CREW!

My main problem with this company is the damage they caused with my BRAND NEW floor in laundryroom. At first the guys told me the floor couldnt be new! I explained this was a brand new home, no one has ever lived init even, and the vinyl flooring is torn. I was then told that CHaz would contact me in 24 hrs...that never happened. Then I called and spoke to a woman in office that told me she would bring my concerns to Chaz. I did get an email asking for an estimate, which I promptly got, and felt this was going to get resolved! Its been 3 weeks and still havent gottten an email or check for the flooring that needs to get replaced. I hope at some point they come thru, but at this point, Im losing hope.

This team was punctual, polite and followed every instruction beyond my expectations. They were fast, but not in a rush, and extremely respectful of my home and my items that were being moved. Many items were precious and breakable and the team barely made a sound while moving. They were all so nice. I would absolutely hire this team again. Thank you for a quick and easy move!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Our service is designed to help you move your items while saving you lots of money. You supply the truck and pack up your boxes while We do all the heavy lifting. What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The customer will get a call on the day of the move when we are en route to their location. If, for any reason, we are running behind our agreed upon arrival window, the customer will know well in advance and will be given an updated ETA.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've handled every time of move you could imagine: long distance moves, local moves, moving items within a home or apartment, office moves, furniture assembly, and everything in between.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
At CHAZ & CREW, we take great pride in taking what is typically an extremely stressful situation, and making it go incredibly smoothly. We hear a lot of horror stories about other movers from our customers, so it's always exciting when, once the move has been completed, our customers tell us "this went better than I could have hoped!"
