Ty and his helpers were excellent! We have a lot of stuff and a POD that wasn't quite big enough. They did a really terrific job fitting in as much as possible with this Tetris-like challenge. They all had great attitudes and work ethics, and got the job done efficiently within the time we had allotted. 10/10 I would definitely recommend them!

Top of the class! We will use these folks again. Worked on a very hot day but it did not slow them down. Also packed Upack trailer high and tight. They put a lot of thought into each box and piece of furniture. In a world turned upside down by mediocrity and poor workmanship, Vyking proved the exception and certainly exceptional. THANKS. The Viking guys called in advance, arrived on time, and made short work of carrying my daughters boxes and furniture up a steep flight of stairs to her new apartment. They were courteous, efficient, and they inspired trust. I would definitely recommend and use them again.

What went well: Vyking Movers were very punctual, arriving precisely on time. They worked hard and were pleasant to deal with.
What went wrong: The movers piled up furniture way on top of boxes, and stacked up lots of heavy items on top of dining room chairs - in other words, they did not protect certain pieces of furniture properly. (We supplied plenty of moving blankets). We pointed out that we had plenty of room in the truck (almost a third of the truck was empty, so all the high stacking was not necessary.) Although I voiced doubts about how certain things were packed, it was not changed. Here was the result: When we unpacked the truck, my dining room chairs, which my husband and I recovered ourselves, were damaged. The foam padding on the chairs had been crushed and flattened out, so that they will have to be recovered. Our tall white cabinet with doors was completely cracked from front to back. Another small kitchen cart wooden top was gouged because it was not protected with a blanket and piled on top of other items. There was other damage, too, but these were the major problems. These damages could have been avoided with more careful packing. We had previously moved all these household goods from Virginia to NJ ourselves, and had no damages. Movers need to listen to customers and be more careful with property. I would like to have compensation to get our chair seats recovered and to have crack repaired in our tall cabinet (if repair is possible.) What we paid was a LOT of money to have our furniture damaged.

Ty and his team did a great job packing our Uhaul truck! They were super quick and attentive and got everything packed with some room to spare. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for loading/unloading!
