The guys worked hard and got a lot done in the time alloted. They were friendly, polite, and hardworking. However: 1) they showed up 1 hr early; I know it's a weird thing to complain about, but this was a stressful long distance move, and I had communicated clearly to the owner, who scheduled us, that they shouldn't arrive before the agreed upon time to give us enough time to be ready. They arrived as we were parking the truck, so it was extra chaos to finish packing while they were moving things and made it impossible to supervise loading, which could have prevented some issues. 2) for the most part they loaded logically, but they loaded a heavy treadmill vertically and illogically, and some other things were loaded in a way that made no sense. During the move, treadmill fell on other stuff and damaged it. They did not secure thing properly with the rope provided, and stuff flew everywhere during the move. 3) They used less than 1/2 the furniture pads provided, resulting in more stuff getting scratched up. 4) When I wrote to company owner to ask about process for filing insurance claim for the damage, I got no response whatsoever. It seems claim will go through Hire A Helper, but I would have appreciated a response from the owner. This was an expensive service - especially considering extra Hire A Helper fees. I've paid far less for better results in the past. I'm disappointed that so much of my stuff is so scratched/ruined it will likely need to just be tossed out. We will see whether HAH steps up with insurance coverage or not.
Until then, please accept my sincerest apologies on behalf of everyone on the team.
I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you encountered during your recent move. Your feedback is important to us, and I would like to address the concerns you raised regarding the securing of items and their placement within the moving truck.
To provide the best assistance possible, please provide more detailed information and photographs of any damaged belongings for our assessment. This will aid us in processing any potential insurance claims effectively. Your cooperation and valuable input are greatly appreciated.
I want to emphasize that your father, rather than our team, oversaw the securing of items. Regarding furniture pads, a limited number remained, which were employed for safeguarding a glass table. Our lead communicated constraints that necessitated carefully placing certain things, which were shared with you.
I understand the timing discrepancy and the presence of other movers on-site due to the scheduled 1 PM start time. Throughout the activity, your father actively secured items with a "plane knot." Furthermore, one of our team members dismantled the bed. At the same time, another moving company utilized the elevator because, as you mentioned, your reservation wasn't scheduled until 1 PM, providing you the needed packing time.
We also want to assure you that we have pictures documenting the load layer by layer, showing the placement of items in the truck.
Should you require further assistance or clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out. Sharing photographs and additional details would be beneficial for comprehensively evaluating the situation.
Additionally, I'd like to mention that communication is vital to us. You've frequently reached out via text before your appointment, and I regret that we couldn't connect effectively this time. We take your concerns seriously and remain committed to addressing them rather than seeking attention. We are dedicated to achieving a resolution that meets your satisfaction.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work towards a resolution.
Best regards,
Karim Savage

They were great! They were right on time and called ahead to let us know when they were coming. Both men were very polite and made sure to take extra care with all our items! They worked fast and efficiently to get everything done! I’d highly recommend them!

The men who unloaded my trailer were great and committed to finish. The only name I got was Terry, but both were committed to helping. I think we had a bad move for them and I wish they had more equipment like carts, dollies and lifting straps, They showed up early and helped direct me in backing the trailer, then worked their butts off on a hot humid day.
I would hire these guys to move furniture, paint my house, babysit, anything. They are an asset to any company
Regarding your equipment suggestion, we'll consider that to enhance our services. Our team chose not to use a dolly due to their expertise in manual handling, ensuring the job was completed efficiently.

Customers can expect positive language on the job site, a workaround to any issues that may arise, an explanation of packing format, unwavering honesty, and that the customer will feel understood.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
If it’s part of a move, your movers can take care of it for you. You’ll work with the professional movers that you hire to figure out an exact plan and what tasks you’d like them to handle.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Keep a running list of all the little things that have to get done, put into place kid or pet arrangements early in the morning, leave out some basic cleaning supplies, and do one last walk-through.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've worked for much different clientele from many different backgrounds, including businesses such as - Philly Pretzel Factory, Staging Theory (NJ), and TriggerHouse.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part of being a mover is being able to help others by giving back with a skillset that is bar-none.
What training do you provide your crew members?
When a person is hired to become a professional mover, they are constantly being trained and retrained due to one of our core values which is constant improvement. All of our movers are qualified pros with considerable years of experience. We set what we like to call the "Golden Standard" for our team and expect delivery every time, no matter how big or small the job is. Training is two-part: on-the-job experience and completing a virtual orientation process with our onboarding agent.
