Between a new floor being installed, a son moving out and new furniture being delivered we had a lot of stuff to be moved. Matt and his helper got everything into place quickly and even helped with furniture placement. Although, they didn't load a truck -having them come in and get everything was a huge time saver and it was moved without the dings or dents that happen when you do it yourself. I would recommend them to anyone who who has furniture to be moved-even if it is only from one room to another.

Ben and his crew were good workers. They were polite and courteous. I was expecting them at 11am. Ben said that they were told by their dispatch to be at our office between 11 am and noon. They came closer to noon.

the two gentlemen who cam were efficient, proffesional and put our pre-packing help to shame...they were so careful and quick about packing a 26 foot truck we packed our laptop computer....

I thought they were coming at 10 as I requested. They were there at 11:00. Very polite and friendly. Not experienced at packing a truck. A large mirror and a curio cabinet had all the glass broken when I arrived at the other end. There were packing blankets from u haul and rope which could have been used to secure and protect the items. I paid the full five hours but they were actually working from 11:00 - 2:00.

I needed help moving into a 26ft truck into a storage unit and didn't have anyone to help. I was driving from D.C. to Texas and reserved two guys for two hours on the drive down, over the phone. They were there waiting on me when I got to the storage unit. The men worked hard, did a great job and were very nice. I would definitely recommend Hire A Helper to everyone.

-Introductory phone call within 24 hrs of your booking to review your job requirements -Professional customer service representatives to assist with any of your pre-move questions -A dedicated representative of our company to call if any changes need to be made.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Introductory phone call from the crew 30 minutes before arrival -A crew that arrives on-time, ready to assist on your move -Uniformed crew members -tools, door jam protector and rug runner as well as a carton dolly and a furniture dolly. Basic hand tools for basic assemble/disassemble, that may be needed to move some items. -a walkthrough of your home with the crew to discuss your goals for the move.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
-Please utilize the many years of experience of our service reps to assist with any questions you have leading up o your move -If you are loading, you will want to make sure you have all the right supplies to ensure a safe move. Our reps can help with your planning, but some of the things you might need are furniture blankets, rope, straps, mattress bags, tape and boxes Please make sure you label the side of all boxes for your new home. -If you are unloading, you might want to try to secure a packing.

What training do you provide your crew members?
With over 20+ years experience of successful moves, we have developed policies and procedures for all types of moves. Each crew member is given extensive in the office training on these policies and procedures. We also take all movers through an extensive hands-on training program in our warehouse that walks them through the proper way to pack, protect, carry, load and unload your belongings that are good for the safety of your items and all involved in the move.
