The movers themselves were great. Could not ask for better workers. The billing was a total bait and switch. We booked movers for 5 hours of labor plus one hour of travel. They arrived at 9:45. They used the entire hour (a little more, actually) for travel and a stop for lunch. They left at 3:15. So 4.5 hours of labor plus an hour of travel. Had no problem paying for the extra half hour of labor the movers didn't need. They worked super hard. Then, somehow, there was an additional half hour billed after the fact. Another 80 dollars from the owner's bait and switch, so be careful with these guys. They will do an excellent job with the move, but the quoted price and services will change as soon as the owner gets involved.

My movers canceled but these two guys showed up the very next day and moved me like crazy. I cannot fathom how they lifted all that weight. And quick too. They got it done... we are so happy in our new home!

This moving service was the worst I’ve ever experienced and I’ve moved a lot. It was booked well in advance for four men and only two showed up. I understand that one of the two was new to moving. We had some large heavy pieces and it required four men. The move lasted many hours too long due to the shortage and it was very hot and stressful to all! I called the owner and he wouldn’t pick up or return my call. I would not recommend this moving service.

We were so happy with our movers! They had a tough job of moving us in to a third floor apartment with so many stairs. They were positive, professional and realistic. They went above and beyond the call of duty, were on time and worked hard. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I hired this moving service without knowing anything about them. A mistake that I paid dearly for! I was arranging my move while working out of state and I was very short on time to get everything done. Had I done my research (googled) and seen the other bad reviews, I would have NEVER hired them. Every negative comment is true! They are a complete rip-off! It ended up costing me over $700 to load an ALREADY BOXED AND PACKED one bedroom apartment onto their truck and to unload the things into a storage unit. Not only did one of the movers (Sharif) ask me to help them (which I've never experienced before from a moving service that I'm paying for by the way), but as other reviews state, he right away mentioned tips.....then went further to ask if I can pay the tip in cash "because the owner takes a couple of weeks to give them tips when it's left on the customer's credit card". I have no problem at all with tipping good workers....especially for such strenuous and laborious work! I have always had very good experiences with movers that I've hired via Hireahelper.com up until now. This was a complete disappointment! I felt like they took total "advantage" of the situation I was in and I was so much more stressed from the experience than I should have been! Once everything was loaded into their truck, we were all supposed to head directly to my storage unit. The storage facility is literally 3.6 miles from my apartment building. I arrived there and waited for them for over half an hour! They told me that they stopped at the store! Really??! Meanwhile, I'm paying for the extra hour! Also, I'm pretty certain that whenever I remove my things from the storage unit, there will be damages. They were very careless with how they placed things on the dollies, etc.
Moving is always a hassle, but it's just so much better when you can deal with movers who aren't trying to milk the situation! Do NOT hire Advantage Moving!

On time, efficient, tackled a tough stairwell on move out, and even helped put together a piece of furniture after unloading that i had disassembled before even moving. Great, and highly recommended.

Very polite, punctual, Professional and covid conscious. took extremely good care handling my possessions including large corner glass desk, round glass dining table, platform bed, and very large TVs. Very efficient and effective use of their time.
