They are true professional movers. I had them unload a container done by another company that was not satisfactory. That other crew were good workers, but did not stuff the container tightly enough, and put fragile boxes on the bottom, and other errors that showed their inexperience. If you want your stuff handled properly, and effecienty call these guys!

I would recommend this service to anyone trying to move at minimal expense! The two gentlemen who came to work were very well equipped, prepared to work and they worked continuously to complete the move in just under 2 hours.
I originally estimated the time to be three hours, and they informed me that I needed to contact Family Movers/Hire-A-Helper, via text message, to inform them that the job was completed and I would be credited back the cost of the additional hour, HOWEVER, I have not seen that hour credited back to my charge card. My compliments to the workers for a job well done, but disappointed that I was not credited back the hour of unused time. Either I was mislead by the workers, or the company has failed to make appropriate reimbursement.

A fantastic company to work with! Our three movers arrived early and stayed into the evening with getting us moved. Danny, Matt and Chris were awesome and very efficient and handled all of our furniture and boxes with the utmost care. Everthing was loaded on the truck with precision, furniture was wrapped professionally, unloaded and set up at the new house in just a matter of hours.
Crystal in the office was great to work with and was always wonderful in helping me change our moving date-even after the third time!
We will definitely use this company again!

Family Movers showed up on time, called to let us know they were on their way, and worked tirelessly until they finished. I was really impressed that they were always in good moods, even with so much work facing them. We will hire them again.

I have used hire a helper in the past and this by far was my worst experience. I was in and out during the loading process and when I got to my new home to unload I found that most of my stuff didn't have the blankets properly on the furniture. I had scratches on furniture that I have moved many times before due to poor decisions on staging My drier was loaded upside down onto my washer. No common sense was used!!!

Two guys showed up ready to work, and they worked hard while they were there. However, once the PODs arrived at our destination, all of our furniture was damaged in some way, i.e., scratches, dings, scrapes, etc. Our leather furniture was damaged. They didn't protect our belongings properly with the provided materials. It is going to be very difficult to get these items replaced and I wish more care had been taken when our items were packed into the PODs.

Very easy to work with. Careful movers. Used every inch of space in the moving container. Made it possible for us to put all our furniture and posessions into one instead of two containers. Probably saved us way more than they charged. Arrived on time. Kept working until the end except for a short mid point break to drink fluids. Highly recommend them.

What types of moves have you handled?
We are both labor and full service, for commercial, and residential. We also work for a Restoration company. We do a lot of Fire, Water, Mold where we clear out effected homes, then when the work in the home is done, we move it all back in. And set things back up.
