Movers arrived on time and got right to work. They got everything packed in to my POD with a little room to spare for smaller things. I plan to use them again to help me move in to my new house.

Our movers were very helpful in loading our POD, but I thought they were going to also pack up our apartment. It was a little frustrating when I asked them if they had brought supplies to pack up our kitchen and they said they hadn't because we hadn't requested that they bring them. Maybe it was a mistake on our part but I don't remember anything while reserving movers that said we needed to request moving supplies (such as bubble wrap and boxes). We just had the movers load the things that were ready into the POD, and then we were up all night trying to figure out how to best pack our breakables. We just didn't get the service I thought we were getting. But they were very helpful in the hard labor of carrying boxes and furniture to our POD.

They did an excellent job taking everything down from a third floor, no elevator apartment. They did a great job packing and securing my items in the pod.

We loved these guys!! Our POD arrived with a lock on the door that we did not put on - it was put on at the storage center (without our knowledge) where it was packed up (in another state) and we had no keys!! After panicking a bit, knowing Portland Movers was on their way to unpack the POD, my daughter called Jeff at Portland Movers explaining the situation, and could he help her. He helped her remove the lock and the guys moved everything out in a timely and professional manner. They went above and beyond given this unexpected stressful situation!

The Guys were 35 minutes late. I showed them around the house and explained what I wanted to see done. They got started right away. They had all the right equipment and where prepared to do for what ever was need for each piece of furniture. They stayed busy and did a good job. I did need them for longer then was expected. Except for disagreement over the final bill, everything went well. I would definitely make sure of what all I was paying for before I used them again.
