Initially we had an issue. I had only given my landline phone number, and the co.sent texts on that line which I didn't receive, so the movers didn't arrive as scheduled. After a phone call, they arrived 2hrs.later. The two movers sent were excellent. A great team., one walked thru the house with me and got the initial plan. They were very courteous and careful with my things. They were able to get all my HEAVY furniture into the POD in 1 1/2 hrs. I will need movers again to unload the POD, so hope I can get the same two gentlemen. I would recommend them. Just make sure you give the co.both phone numbers, in case they text you.

Showed up on time. They worked hard, and smart. Booked 4 guys, to do 2 hours. And they actually finished everything early. Even with moving a piano. They did ding the front door, moving the piano out, but I got a 20% refund due to the damage. Felt Ok about that. I'd use them again. My only surprise was how the dispatcher (? don't know who it was) was direct/brief to a fault. Made me a bit nervous about who would show up, and what that quality would be like. They could really use someone with stronger customer service skills in welcoming me as a customer. Giving me confidence that everything was going to go great.

Our movers were named Martin & Rueban and they did a fantastic job moving our business. They worked quickly and asked questions regarding priorities and preferences. Frankly, they were magicians because they were able to fit everything into the Pod and I had serious doubts it would all make it. We had a very positive experience with Portland Movers Ready.

Not great. In my 20s I could EASILY do the work of ALL 3 slow guys. Not athletes, not exercise buffs, and not energetic. We hire blind, expect us to criticize blind also. Not in shape, not strong, from the looks of it, I thought we were going to a buffet not moving heavy things. 5 hours for a 2 bedroom. Pathetically slow. I've loaded a truck MYSELF in less time. EASILY. Good luck with stumble bumble and whoops. Hire 3 immigrants for 10$ an hour and save yourself 2/3rds the money. Remember to clean the black marks off the wall and repair all the scratches and divots in the drywall. TERRIBLE. Random goofy fat asses wandering in my house. Not in shape. Not who I would hire AT ALL. Sad. TERRIBLY SLOW. Not qualified. Not trained. Not smart. These are NOT YOUR WEIGHT LIFTERS. Don't have any OAK. Don't have anything actually heavy. I guess anyone can be a mover. For this company. Never again.
