I booked them with ease. They called to confirm. They showed up on time. They were amazing. Went straight to work efficiently and did a great job. I was the most impressed with the fact that they knew how to take care of my Sleep Number bed and the adjustable base. They wrapped my flat screen for me and packed everything well and strapped it off as they went. I felt very well taken care of.

The crew was great....no complaints there. But I have an issue with their billing. And it probably goes back to Hire a Helper and not Budget Hauling. But I think there's a bit of manipulation going on both sides.
I requested service for two men for two hours. No problems there. They showed up when expected and worked their tails off. When their first two hours were coming near they told me to call their boss to request another hour. Which I did. Then when they told me their next hour was up I thanked them, tipped them and they were on their merry way. All great I thought.
Then I get the bill. 4-1/2 hours they billed. 1/2 hour of which was double time because I was told they charge that for their travel time. Seriously? Their travel time? Which I have no control over, nor do I know where they are coming from. I couldn't even find this travel clause in the fine print. If it's there, it must be tiny.
And then the extra one hour? Not sure how they pulled it off, but the boss said they base it on GPS. Granted, I didn't watch the clock the whole time they were working, and they told me when their time was up, but I know they didn't work another hour beyond what I agreed to and approved with their boss. So were they just sitting in their truck or are they padding their time? The world may never know.
So my warning.... watch their time. Every minute. Because this nickel and diming will cost you if you're not careful.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Email confirmation, moving contract, day before move confirmation.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
Our team will contact each customer 30 minutes prior to arrival time.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Boxes labeled priority level. Any and all small items to be moved down stairs to save on time the move takes. Boxes to be taped, color coded for specific rooms etc. Make sure your electronics are charged and you have all emergency items in a known location. Be ready to allow the movers access to belongings at the time they arrive so that they can get right to work without time wasted. We know you want to help, but allow the movers the space and decision making to move efficiently. Communicate before loading

Working with the community. Moving is exciting but stressful at the same time. Allowing people to destress and watching a perfect move being conducted makes it all worth, especially seeing the smiles and gratitude.
