Mcleod Moving is a family owned company and we work extra hard to ensure our staff of 15 movers is qualified and trained well enough to offer the most professional services possible, we make sure our movers are prepared for every job with shoulder straps, hand trucks, dollys and wrap so they can handle any job! We also specialize in moving large gun safes, pianos and large hot tubs! We’ve been in operation for over 5 years and have completed thousands of moves and still have not found an item we are not able to move!

I booked Mcleod for both packing and loading for our move, on separate days during the same week.
For packing - I would give them a 3 out of 5 - they didn't confirm the time beforehand, arrived hours late, didn't bring materials they said they would (shrink wrap), packed carefully but not quickly, and I needed to personally put in extra time after to finish. That being said, they mostly did a solid job on what they packed.
For loading - they were excellent - 5 out of 5 - came on time, were prepared, had all the right equipment, dollies, shrink wrap - and did a fast and professional job, even getting everything into one less container pod than I expected.

Mcleod Moving was a huge help to me and saved me about $2K. I had a partially full storage container that I had packed poorly plus many things had fallen and broken in transit. In addition, I had rented a smaller storage container thinking I would need it. Mcleod not only offered to repack my partially full container but they were also able to fit all of our things into the partially full container, making the smaller container unnecessary which saved me about $2K. I really appreciate their efforts and skill.

My favorite part about being a mover is the opportunity to perfect my moving techniques and all the exercise
What training do you provide your crew members?
We require each employee to watch several videos on proper lifting, and moving techniques. After around 2 hours of videos we do 6 hours of hands on training at our storage facility. Each employee must pass the wrapping, lifting, stacking, and strapping test.
