Carlton was very flexible and able to adjust arrival time due to furniture delivery delays. He was responsive and easy to reach.
Upon arrival there were two movers with 1 furniture dolly and 1 Utility dolly, but no power tools. Both movers were respectful and were careful with my property. However, they moved very slowly. Moving a 1.5 bedroom apartment should not take 5+ hours. The first load they brought in was a couple lightweight boxes. Seemed like they were piecemealing loads spread between 15-20 min intervals. Also, the lead had to micromanage his helper the entire time. I was not happy the move took so long. I assumed I didn’t have to micromanage the move by organizing loads and helping them systematically bring stuff in. Perhaps I should have.

Carlton and his crew were ontime, professional and very courteous. They actually took out a few minutes to conduct a walkthrough of my requirements and provided recommendations and comments on how to best pack my Pod. I will actually be booking them again in a few weeks for unloading...OUTSTANDING.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
A call to alert Customer we're on the way. Making sure we carry all the supplies they will need on the job. Discussing expectations and details about the job.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Have everything packed and sealed. Dresser drawers out of dresser (if not, we will shrink wrap each drawer). Update movers on everything in House/Apt/Condo before moving.
What types of moves have you handled?
Long distance (100 miles) loading trucks, unloading,. Loading, packing; driving large diesel trucks to Pennsylvania for moving jobs, up mountains. Load/Unload antique furniture, heavy woods, lifting items up curved stairwells, moving safes that weigh over 900 lbs.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
The appreciation from Customer that we did a great job.
What training do you provide your crew members?
200 pound Armoire hold for 10 mins walk 20 mins back and forth to see how long they can hold and how far they can go and to train their mind for heavier items in the future. Lifting weighs after work. Teaching younger movers how to pack a POD, Truck.
