Ed was great! He helped us squeeze everything into a truck that was too small. His assistant was worthless. He was late, didn’t help at all, lost his phone, and wandered aimlessly. When he actually moved an item, he gashed a large hole in the drywall of the hallway and didn’t tell anyone. When he was asked about it, he said “the dolly did it”. Please keep Ed and give him our praise but, we can’t in good faith leave a shining review overall. His helper made our move harder, not easier.

They came up prepared amd an effort to get them a dolly was never attempted. I hired them for 2 hours to load an 8 ft POD. It took 4 1/2 hrs some of the time consisted of going back anfd forth with their boss on who was going to pay them for the extra time. Moving is stresssfull enough ,the POD company quoted me incorrectly on the size POD needed but the job took longer than it should have due to the the lack of equipment . It was a one bedroom apt everything was packed wrapped and sealed. Who sends two men with no dolly so all was done by hand and I had a an elevator. Too many smoking breaks and texting was an issue too. I have moved several times and by far this was the worse experience.

Understanding the time frames were on the hour, I called the contact the day before to tell him I didn't need them to slow up until half past the hour. In addition to his rudeness he went on to say no matter what I put in the comments box they were scheduled for 8:00 am. So again I reassured him I understood from what time they would begin to be paid. I still asked him not to show up until at least 830. At 7:55 AM a man showed up on my doorstep reeking of alcohol and cigarettes smoke, saying he was one of the movers. He was not wearing a coat and it was very cold outside. I called the contact and he said it was the movers responsibility to have a coat and that I should ask the moving guy to stand outside. The 2nd guy showed up at 9:00, although it wasn't an issue because the truck wasn't arriving until 9:15. The job only took 30 minutes.

Workers started very slow and thought we were not going to make it. They kicked in to complete the job within the scheduled time.
