These guys were stellar! They called to say they were on their way and arrived when expected and ready to get to work. We hired them to load a container we ordered through 1800Packrat. The team knew how to load it and showed me tricks for using the straps. They had dollies and packing materials and were able to finish any packing I hadn't completed. They were efficient and organized and showed respect to me and to each other. They listened to my needs and worked out a plan to achieve everything I asked of them. I will be requesting them for the second half of my move next month!

Our Kangaroo movers arrived promptly and had clear communication well in advance of our move and throughout the morning. They came prepared with the packing material to move a living room set as requested, did a thorough job of wrapping the individual pieces and loading them onto our truck. They were generally careful in the move, were willing to accept the moving conditions of the Condo association which made the move route difficult and were absolutely professional through the entire job. They even helped hang up the elevator curtains provided by the condo. We moved everything in the time allotted. Really great team, I would definitely hire them again.

I hired kangaroo movers because of reasonable pricing. I just needed someone to help me load stuff into a moving truck.

They were wonderful! All of our things were unloaded and placed where I asked very quickly. They made polite conversation and even helped assemble some of our furniture when they finished unloading early. Would definitely recommend!

Called ahead of time to let me know about when they were to arrive, showed up and knocked out all the moving in about an hour.
They communicated well and didn't need guidance beyond basic questions.

From the very start it was clear that there was some disconnect. I had confirmed via email (with a confirmation back to me) that there were two stops for my move - my current place to get my mattress and then my storage unit to get the rest of my furniture, then my new place. When the movers called me to tell me they were on their way, they said they were not told this. With attitude they said they'd come to the first place. They loaded up my items at both spots, but in no real rush (I helped them load the truck). The real problems started during unloading at my new place. First, they said they didn't know there were stairs, though it was ON THE ORDER FORM and I had already paid for the stairs. They were extremely rude about it. Again, I helped unload the truck. One of the movers was loudly grunting and yelling throughout the entire time, clearly trying to show that the move was hard (despite only having a couple of heavy pieces - and yes - this is why I hired movers as a 5'3, 120 pound girl). They were slow throughout this process as well. My couch didn't fit up the stairs - okay no problem - and the main mover was incredibly rude to me, patronizing me, calling me "sweetie"... I couldn't believe it. An already stressful situation made more stressful by being rude to me. They tried to convince me to let them take it (it's an expensive couch - I wanted to sell it, obviously), finally agreeing (begrudgingly, and acting so annoyed) to bring it back to my first stop. Sometime during this move he LOST the paperwork and when he realized this, was SCREAMING, swearing, freaking out. I was afraid to be outside with him. Finally he asked me to go with him to FedEx to sign the paperwork - 30 extra minutes out of my day that were unnecessary. I found this entire process incredibly unprofessional and honestly I would NEVER recommend these movers. They also were not very careful with my goods in comparison to other movers. My bad for not scheduling a reputable company sooner. Awful experience and I've hired movers at least 5 times in my life, cross country, local, you name it. Terrible. I let Kangaroo Movers know this and have heard nothing.
