10am - Movers arrived and assessed what needed to be moved.
1015am - Movers did not assess the weight of a shelving unit properly and tried taking down the stairs. The movers damaged the walls leaving scrapes and two major gashes in the drywall. Also, the hardwood floor on the stairs was damaged; plus, the light switch at the top of the stair was pushed in past the switch plate. The shelving unit was damaged in process and is now no longer able to be moved.
Around noon - mover moved suitcase and scratched the floor
130pm - While moving couch damaged door frame and door
Do not recommend this provider. We decided to go with another mover to complete our loading into the second POD.

There are no words! They did amazing. Came in and jumped right to work, did a quick walkthrough and went to work. I am thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the packing and loading.

They were a little late getting here, but not by much, and they made up for it on the tail end. They were excellent. They were respectful of my stuff, especially because not everything was going so they had to work around some things that were staying. They were very courteous, they worked hard, they wrapped up my furniture extremely well with blankets and wrap to make sure it doesn't get damaged, and they were able to pack the POD tightly but in a manner where hopefully everything will arrive in one piece. And they were able to complete everything within the time window without asking for extra time.
I definitely will be using them again.

Excellent service! My husband was so hesitant to hire movers. “They won’t know how to pack the truck. They’ll be reckless with our stuff.” I was determined to prove him wrong and went with MD Expert Movers based on their reviews. Within an hour of them moving our items, he called me and said, “You won’t believe it! They are so efficient and careful. They have a great system going and are packing the truck up perfectly.” He is now sold! What would have taken my husband two days was accomplished in less than 3 hours. Came on time and asked for a layout of the land so they could see what all needed to be loaded into the truck. Then immediately got to work. They took charge of organizing and loading the truck so we didn't have to direct which was really nice. They also seran wrapped a lot of items for us without being asked which was great. Brought their own dolly to use, and they followed the labels we had on the boxes (fragile, heavy etc)

The crew of Pierre, Master P, and Edem were fantastic!!!! The packed that container so well there was no remaining room. They were on time, very pleasant, and personable. What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
