Had a new guy who went pretty slowly; banged up some walls that I had to repair; the description of their service says they bring rope--they sent me out in their van to buy rope--but they said they would let me keep the rope I purchased :o/ All-in-all, not really close to what I expected based on the glowing reviews I had seen.

MD Expert Movers performed the impossible: They fit all of our possessions into a moving container that seemed way too small. They came on time, moved everything really quickly, took great care of our things, and were pleasant the whole time. They are artists in the use of space. We've used them twice, and each time they earned an A+.

Movers showed up in the coordinated window. They called ahead to let me know their arrival time. Instantly upon arrival workers began unloading my pods promptly and were able to unload two 16 foot pods in less than the minimum three hours. Staff was very courteous and polite and I would use them again.

My movers arrived nearly on time (just 15 minutes late). The senior mover was annoyed upon arrival when he saw the two flights of stairs, remarking that the lady who booked them (Sara) didn't send enough movers (2 instead of 4). They were worked very quickly and efficiently, and took their work seriously. I have never moved with a PODS unit before, and I felt like the movers did NOT do the best job in packing my stuff into the PODS. For example, they placed my standing floor lamp across a bunch of stuff and did not secure it either in my stuff or with ropes. I asked them about it, and they didn't seem to care about my concern. They were more in a hurry to get to their next job, than to deal with some of these concerns. I would not use them again mostly because I did not feel like the lead mover was very friendly (he was actually aggressive in his language) or willing to listen to my concerns.

These guys really are experts!! Very professional and hard-working.They wrapped my whole furniture and packed it into a 16ft truck in just over two hours. There was no way that my stuff would fit in such a truck without their skill in packing. I highly recommend them.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though.
