They were an hour late but they called ahead to let me know and sent an extra mover free of charge which completely made up for their tardiness. They were beyond patient with our 4 and 2 yr olds and oh so helpful with the moving. I would highly recommend them to everyone!

Once they arrived the MD Expert crew of two did a very credible job. Sadly, they arrived about 1-1/2 hours late driving from Baltimore to NW Washington, DC at rush hour. Also, not having GPS hindered their arrival. Otherwise, I was quite pleased with their service. The big test is how the wrapped furniture survived the trip.

Kevin and his partner were nothing short of excellent. They were very professional, hustled, and did an incredible job of getting my furniture past some very tight spaces without damage to the furniture or the walls. I would highly recommend them to anybody moving personally or for their business. When I move again in the next year or two, I will request them. That's how impressed I was with Kevin and his helper.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
The movers will give you a call when they are approximately 15 minutes away during your 1-hour arrival window. All of our crews will come prepared with tools for furniture assembly/disassembly, as well as hand trucks, dollies, industrial shrink wrap and rope. This equipment is included in your reservation; there is no additional fee for these basic items.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Moving preparations are often underway well before your moving date - decluttering, boxing, labeling, etc. Our favorite tip is for your moving day. After the crew arrives, take a few minutes upfront to show them all of your items. This way, our team can customize loading your container, storage area, or truck efficiently and safely.
What types of moves have you handled?
We specialize in loading/unloading PODS, PackRat, ABF trailers/containers, and Door-to-Door services. MD Expert Movers isn't limited to household goods though. Is your company moving to a new building? Switching floors in your current space? Do you need someone to finally get that old copier down to the basement? Hauling junk? We can help!
