These gentlemen took great care unloading our belongings. They were sure to ask which room we would like the items if it wasn't written somewhere on it. They sweat their backsides off! They worked together very efficiently and were very mannerly. I would 100% recommend them!

I’ve never had an experience like I did. They called the day before and asked about furniture in each room, for which he created a plan to pack my truck for me. Came in and wrapped all my furniture. Took their time to make sure everything was packed well and secure. Not a piece moved on the drive to my new location. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

They were a lil slow packed the first pod vary good but 2nd pod they purchased my tvs and couch with outside rod iron furniture and had to use my blankets and I purchased 20 padding blankets that cost me $400 dint have alot of big stuff like I said mostly. Boxes that were allreaddy taped up and ready and big stuff was allreaddy seran wrapped so easy loading they really had 3 mirrors to wrap and 2 tvs was all they had to do and went 8hours slow untill end then basically just jamed it all in and Brad said he was ready to go home and see his wife n child 8 hours later when some was still needed to get in pod from $752 $ 1300 I wasent really happy ty

20 blankets was not enough as there was a lot of work to do getting everything prepared for transit. We did what we could with what you had, but the house and the items were not friendly to us. It's actually easier and faster if you have a lot of big heavy items. A lot of little things take a lot more time to fill up the same amount of space.

I won't apologize for wanting to see my family when the job took longer than any of us were expecting. I wasn't happy with the situation either and you were, unfortunately, not as prepared as you think you were.

Jimbo & Sons were on time, well prepared, worked very hard, respectful to us and our goods, and very professional.
I had a 28' freight trailer, packed to the door. The trailer could not be parked in my driveway because it was too steep to drop a trailer, so it was dropped on the road at the end of my drive. Jimbo & Sons team had to bring every single item down a 12' ramp from that fully packed 28' freight trailer, and then uphill on my120' long driveway into my house.
They did it all with care and a great attitude. They pointed out any damage they found before unloading so I could document it.
These guys are very good and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The owner is not a friendly person and made my 21 yr old daughter very uncomfortable with his negativity and curtness.
They did a good job with the labor part of it, but were late for the job, causing us to have to push back the pod pick up time frame.
His employee was friendly and efficient, and the owner could take some notes on better customer service.

Mover's response:
She did not speak to the owner after the initial work order request a month ago in mid April and he was neither negative nor curt during their first and only conversation.

Your daughter experienced miscommunication with the container company and when our crew leader called the evening before to confirm the details of the job, she requested they show up 2 hours earlier than the agreed upon time. We declined, as is our prerogative. The crew showed up at 10:10 with an agreed upon start time window of 10:00-11:00.

Your daughter was unaware of the services we don't offer and while the crew leader attempted to ascertain the details of the job, she was dismissive and rude. Perhaps the crew leader reflected her negativity and curtness.

Thank you for providing valuable feedback. We will treat this as cause to be more resolute in speaking to our customers professionally.

Brad and Matt were just wonderful. We had 2 Pods that needed unloaded and they jumped in, organized boxes and items by room and quickly put things exactly where we asked. Since they have been doing this for so long, they gave me the job of sitting in a chair and directing. I think it was to make sure I stayed out of there way. Lol. You can't go wrong with Jimbo and Sons. Thank you!!!

Arrived on time and called with an ETA. Worked like dogs. Unloaded the storage unit and repacked in an organized manner. Only if the original mover did the same kind of job they did then I would not have had to hire them.
They carefully took boxes and furniture down and reorganized the storage unit so I can now get to everything in the unit and all related boxes were placed together.

I would highly recommend them and will call them if the need arises.

All customers will receive prompt and courteous service. Our goal is to ensure your moving experience is as quick and as painless as possible.

What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?

You will have professionally attired movers that are clean and courteous with a professional attitude, with the goal of finishing your move quickly and safely.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?

In order to increase the likelihood of an efficient, quick move: Label or organize boxes and tape them closed. Have bags for mattresses, especially if traveling a significant distance. If possible, have large pieces of furniture emptied with a clear path to the exit. Ensure you have moving pads (or substitutes) if we will only be present for the load. Know what's going beforehand so that we can give an accurate estimate and be properly prepared.

What types of moves have you handled?

We have managed moves from single rooms to homes over 5000 square feet. We have focused mainly on local moves but we do have experience in cross country moves in the past.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?

Being able to help lower the level of stress inherent to moving from a residence, regardless of size or reason. With 23 years of military service we have had to endure the stress of moving on many occasions and know from personal experience that a good moving crew greatly reduces that stress. We've all had bad experiences with movers and we strive to ensure we are not going to be one of those for our customers.

What training do you provide your crew members?

We train our associates in proper use of dollies. Preparing furniture to be loaded,e.g. use of pads, disassembly of certain items, etc.. Disconnecting and preparing appliances for movement. Proper lifting techniques and use of buddy lifts and equipment when necessary. Most importantly is the proper loading of household goods to maximize every inch available in the vehicle you've rented.
