Fantastic!
Life savers for sure. Another helper was a no show late on a Friday and I was facing a complete unload into an apartment by myself. Jimbo & Sons had two awesome guys show up within an hour of their first notice and we were done unloading in less time than they anticipated. They even offered to disconnect my trailer and do other extras they didn’t have to. I will definitely use them again. Thank you!

Jim and his crew did a great job. We can’t say enough about how professional, hard working, and courteous they were. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs help moving, and would definitely use them again. Our home is on a hill, and we had some very heavy and bulky items that needed to be unloaded. They took great care with all our stuff, and even hung padding in the doorway and laid a runner on the floor to protect out home. Great job, Jim!!!??

Before coming they were in contact with me assuring they would be there and confirming their crew size would be sufficient to complete the job in the allotted time. They arrived on time and after confirming where every thing was going stated getting the job done.
During the process there was some confusion as where to place some of the things, mainly communication between my wife and me, but they were able to work with us and keep us both happy. As they unloaded the containers they were vigilant to let us know if they found any damaged items. There were only four items that needed to be made aware of and they were minor ones.
After everything was unloaded, we discovered that a few things needed to be moved and they took care of this too.
Jim is a true professional in his trade and his crew were at all times polite and willing to help with what ever needed to get our job done.

Although this is a physically demanding profession, especially during the summer, we believe that common courtesy and caring for our customers should be common practice. Our main goal is to alleviate any stress our customers have during the moving process that we can directly, I believe a big part of that is being courteous and polite at all times.

Our experience with Hire A Helper and specifically Jimbo & Sons has been stellar. From the ease of scheduling and booking our move to the well oiled machine that brought us out of our daughter’s apartment has been great. The guys were on time and were so polite and helpful. They were careful with her stuff and super organized and efficient. I would definitely hire them every time I need to move anything.

All customers will receive prompt and courteous service. Our goal is to ensure your moving experience is as quick and as painless as possible.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
You will have professionally attired movers that are clean and courteous with a professional attitude, with the goal of finishing your move quickly and safely.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
In order to increase the likelihood of an efficient, quick move: Label or organize boxes and tape them closed. Have bags for mattresses, especially if traveling a significant distance. If possible, have large pieces of furniture emptied with a clear path to the exit. Ensure you have moving pads (or substitutes) if we will only be present for the load. Know what's going beforehand so that we can give an accurate estimate and be properly prepared.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have managed moves from single rooms to homes over 5000 square feet. We have focused mainly on local moves but we do have experience in cross country moves in the past.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Being able to help lower the level of stress inherent to moving from a residence, regardless of size or reason. With 23 years of military service we have had to endure the stress of moving on many occasions and know from personal experience that a good moving crew greatly reduces that stress. We've all had bad experiences with movers and we strive to ensure we are not going to be one of those for our customers.
What training do you provide your crew members?
We train our associates in proper use of dollies. Preparing furniture to be loaded,e.g. use of pads, disassembly of certain items, etc.. Disconnecting and preparing appliances for movement. Proper lifting techniques and use of buddy lifts and equipment when necessary. Most importantly is the proper loading of household goods to maximize every inch available in the vehicle you've rented.
