Update: well, we unpacked our POD recently and discovered the “safely and securely” part of my review isn’t accurate. Several of our items were scratched and our TVs had several very heavy items stacked on top. Thankfully they made it unharmed, as we packed them well, but I was not happy seeing that. We also provided plenty of moving blankets and found a huge stack of them neatly folded in the back of the POD, instead of protecting our items. While we were happy with the overall moving, it might be a good idea to keep a closer eye on the person packing the POD.

They arrived on time, ready to move. We were trying to avoid using a second container for our long distance move. That ultimately wasn’t possible, but they did their best to fit as much as possible in the first container, while still making sure our items were packed safely and securely. They were extremely fast and finished within the window we had estimated. We also needed a few items left out until our actual move. I let them know and they left space in the container specifically for these items. When we were ready to load those items, they fit neatly where they intended the items to go.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
Jon's Friendly Movers provides the customer with clear communication on the date, time and location for the move. We walk you through each step of the move and will recommend an appropriate time expectation, size of truck and number of staff that is needed to facilitate the move. We answer all questions so that the customers feels comfortable.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We will arrive on-time , if not early, and in uniform to begin the moving process. Jon's Friendly Movers communicates time expectations, asks for clarity, if needed, and handles the details so you do not have too.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Jon's Friendly Movers provides tips and information in order to help the moving day run smoothly. We think of the things you may not be aware of since friendly moving is what we offer. For example, we recommend the customer keeps a running list of what needs to be done, to obtain any packing supplies if needed, to have your phone charged (the charger may get packed), to leave out some basic cleaning supplies and to be prepared to do one last walk through to make sure nothing gets left behind.
What types of moves have you handled?
Jon's Friendly Movers does local, long-distance and office moves. We offer loading / unloading from house to house, house to storage unit, moving offices and relocation across states.
