Disappointed is an understatement. I chose Key Movers because of how many positive reviews they had, but I had a horrible experience. The movers were not experienced or strategic, arrived without any equipment, did not get everything out of the apartment, damaged my apartment and building, and broke things. They did not complete the job in the 2 hours (I lived in a Junior one bedroom and only had a bed, dresser, nightstand, couch, and table in addition to a standard amount of boxes/bags, had reserved the elevator, and provided them with 2 luggage carts as they brought nothing). They could not get the couch out of the apartment and left me with it! This resulted in my move being delayed 6 hours as I had to wait for Key Movers to send more competent people to remove it. The person I spoke to admitted that the "lead mover" had been out that morning, which is why he wasn't initially sent to my apartment. Additionally, the movers caused serious damage to my apartment. There were chunks taken out of the walls, the floor was scratched, and the door frame and actual door to the apartment and my neighbor's apartment were scratched. They also broke a large, expensive piece of marble that was the top to a table.

The guys showed up on time. Jamel and James were nice and very hard working. My only issue was that they arrived with no moving equipment - no hand truck, dollies, carts. They were really thankful when the building had one we could use. It would have taken them twice as long without it. Not sure why the moving company would send people without the right equipment to do their job.

They moved a 20 foot truck of heavy boxes and furniture with care in under 2 hours. They were also very friendly and easy going! I will certainly use them for my next move

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Key Moverz’ Customers should have boxes taped, drawers in furniture should be taped or removed, elevators should be reserved and finally customer should be prepared to oversee and enjoy the service.
What types of moves have you handled?
Key Moverz have worked with 1000 sq ft office buildings,loft apartments, 4 story houses; while facing obstacles of broken elevators, dissemble furniture, small stairs and pets. Yet, we greet every job with a fresh mindset.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?

What training do you provide your crew members?
Key Crew members practice working as a team, practicing communication skills among each other as they guide furniture from the house. Also crew members are coached on keeping the house as well as the items in great condition whether moving out or moving.
