Originally I had given this company 5 stars because I felt they did fine, but after my experience with the next company in my final location, and the amount of damage they caused, I had to amend my review. Many of my items were damaged and ruined. I had asked the movers if they thought the way they packed my POD was secure and the girl basically rolled her eyes at me pointing to the things being "secure". Against my better judgment, I trusted what she had said because this company had good reviews and I expected that their employees would know what they were doing. When my movers at the next location tried to open the POD the door was jammed because everything had FLOWN to the front. Whatever was "securing" my possessions clearly did not work. My ski pole was lodged in the door, the corner of my dresser was snapped off and my boxes were crushed. One box literally had holes in it because my desk fell through it. I also had called and asked that they bring extra padding and stretch wrap for some furniture to which the person who answered the phone said they always bring those things and asked if they could come earlier on the move date. I agreed and expected my movers to arrive at 8:30 am instead of 9:30 am. I rented a UHaul and was waiting at 8:30, but the movers did not show until 9:30 where they proceeded to tell me that they never bring stretch wrap and only had furniture dollies. Thankfully I had some stretch wrap leftover, but when asked if I could have help wrapping my large dresser, the girl was ANNOYED by having to do it stating that "it didn't do anything anyways". I also suggested using extra boxes to cushion some of my possessions to prevent damage or rubbing to which she said that it wouldn't make a difference. I truly felt like an idiot for even suggesting to cover and wrap certain items because of her responses. My building manager even asked if I had just hired one mover and then they brought a random friend to help because they took forever trying to load my things into the truck. I ended up having to spend an extra 40 dollars because they went over the 2 hours. I felt like they were purposefully being slow to get the extra money considering the movers I had in my next location were able to load and unload in less than 2 hours and help me set things up. SO disappointed for such an expensive price, I am shocked that they have a good rating. They also did not wear masks, even though their "about section" on this website said that they would. I understand moving with masks is difficult, but at least wearing one when they introduced themselves would have been good. DO NOT use this company if you are moving, their workers were careless and unprofessional. They advertise that they are professional, fast-working and know how to pack storage units like PODs but that was not the case here.

Key Moverz’ Customers should have boxes taped, drawers in furniture should be taped or removed, elevators should be reserved and finally customer should be prepared to oversee and enjoy the service.
What types of moves have you handled?
Key Moverz have worked with 1000 sq ft office buildings,loft apartments, 4 story houses; while facing obstacles of broken elevators, dissemble furniture, small stairs and pets. Yet, we greet every job with a fresh mindset.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?

What training do you provide your crew members?
Key Crew members practice working as a team, practicing communication skills among each other as they guide furniture from the house. Also crew members are coached on keeping the house as well as the items in great condition whether moving out or moving.
