They were on time and prepared. They brought some boxes, mattresses and some furniture downstairs to my Pack Rat container. They did not know how to pack the container with furniture and boxes to maximize space. I provided blankets and shrink wrap for furniture protection and they did not use it until I insisted and they did not know how to wrap properly. They took my leather loveseat down 4 flights of stairs without removing the backs. It got stuck at the bottom, they jammed it through the door and tossed it on its end in the container without wrapping or protection. It's probably ruined! I had them leave at that time as I had other movers coming, luckily their time was up. I was mad that I had to pay other movers to fix their poor packing and repack the container properly, waste of time and money. If you need a big item moved from one room to another or a simple job then maybe hire them but not if you want professional mover service.

My wife and I had an AMAZING experience with Key Movers--they were so kind and made our move so much less stressful. We got delayed in traffic and weather driving down and couldn't make our evening appointment, and they were super accommodating, fitting us in first thing the next morning.
They were an awesome team, were excellent communicators throughout the whole process, and got all of our stuff loaded in safely. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t recommend Key Movers any higher. The team was prompt, and professional, and worked incredibly efficiently, taking great care to be careful with our furniture and our walls. We will definitely use them again.

We were called the morning of the move and told that one of the movers called out and they weren’t sure what time the other two movers would be able to arrive. After 45 minutes of back and forth we were told there would be two movers, and a third would possibly be arriving 30 minutes into the reservation time. All three of them showed up late. Once in the house we tried to show them the inventory of what needed to be to moved, but they wanted to get working which was appreciated but throughout the move we were constantly asked if things were going onto the truck. Keep in mind we had a 26 foot truck so of course everything in our house was going except appliances. They asked if cushions were going on the truck from the couches they just moved, asked if chairs were going on the truck they were apart of the dining room and kitchen set. It was way more chaotic then I would have liked being that I am pregnant. To packing the truck. Everything seemed to be going okay until we started to get to the end, things were thrown about and there was no real organization to the truck. The space was poorly utilized and pretty hazardous at the end, unsure if pieces would fall out once the door was reopened. Two pieces of furniture were scratched without any acknowledgement from the team, they seemed very unsure how to move certain simple pieces, and needed physical assistance from my boyfriend which was not why they were getting paid to be there.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
Key Moverz’ Customers should have boxes taped, drawers in furniture should be taped or removed, elevators should be reserved and finally customer should be prepared to oversee and enjoy the service.
What types of moves have you handled?
Key Moverz have worked with 1000 sq ft office buildings,loft apartments, 4 story houses; while facing obstacles of broken elevators, dissemble furniture, small stairs and pets. Yet, we greet every job with a fresh mindset.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Key Moverz is created to meet a need and solving the many equations that come with organizing the truck, working as a team, assisting people in a new home, in addition eliminating the stress of new homeowners ready for the next step. Key Movers culture is every part of the move done with integrity.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Key Crew members practice working as a team, practicing communication skills among each other as they guide furniture from the house. Also crew members are coached on keeping the house as well as the items in great condition whether moving out or moving.
