Did a good job overall. The move was mostly to get heavier stuff into a 16-foot truck. They packed up full. Can't give 5 stars because the helpers originally scheduled were not able to show up. The people who did show were understandably a couple hours later than the original ones had been scheduled for. Once here, they did a good job. They were pleasant and had good energy despite having the spent the earlier part of the day moving other people and then having to unexpectedly help us. Overall a positive experience.

I would not recommend using Key Movers. They are unprofessional and do not take COVID-19 seriously. They also arrived hours after the promised time and the owner decide to not show up after being told they had to wear masks. The owners brother and his friend came, they were inexperienced in moving and dropped and damaged a few of our items.
KeyMovers were scheduled to show up between 8-9 am and movers showed up 4.5+ hours late after a made up story for why they could not arrive on time.
The owner, and who was supposed to come help with the move, originally called us 30 minutes into the arrival window to let us know they would be late. They also told us they didn't want to be wearing masks because it was too hot and dangerous for them to move items and wear masks. I work in healthcare and this is completely false. I informed them they would need to wear masks while moving our items, she got irritated with me and tried to lecture me on how I was putting their lives at danger, again, false. I did not budge. She then implied they didn't have masks and this would add on to a delay in their arrival time.
She also said she didn't know when they would be able to arrive because a fire alarm was going off in the building they were at and they were unable to grab their "tools". She told me they would not be able to arrive for 3-4 hours because of "traffic". It is the middle of COVID-19, we've also lived in the area for a year now, there is minimal traffic currently due to the pandemic and it was a Sunday morning. Based on the website location for this business, it said they were less than 40 minutes away. They also confirmed our appoint time earlier that week.
When the two movers arrived hours later (not the owner and her husband), they let us know there was no alarm and they had received a call at 9:30/10 am asking them to come do this job because the owner and her husband did not want to come do the job in this heat. Meaning that if her brother hadn't agreed to come, we would have been high and dry.
While the two men who did come were very nice, it was obvious they were not professional movers and were very rough with our items, dropped numerous things and overall had no method to their process. Due to our jobs we have moved quite a lot the past five years and have used hireahelper many times. This is the first time we have had such a headache with trying to have someone show up on time, been given attitude, or had inexperienced movers show up.
Save your time and money and go with a more reliable moving company.

We scheduled the movers to arrive between 10-11am, they did not arrive until 2pm. We asked they be careful with a few heirloom furniture items and once we opened the truck after the move we found they had scratched and even broke a piece off of the furniture.

Key Moverz have worked with 1000 sq ft office buildings,loft apartments, 4 story houses; while facing obstacles of broken elevators, dissemble furniture, small stairs and pets. Yet, we greet every job with a fresh mindset.

What training do you provide your crew members?
Key Crew members practice working as a team, practicing communication skills among each other as they guide furniture from the house. Also crew members are coached on keeping the house as well as the items in great condition whether moving out or moving.
