I initially was not going to utilize this service because of cost, and unfamiliarality. And I should have listened to myself! When the 2 guys arrived, I knew that they were not experienced movers! But at least they arrived on time. My two teenage sons had to direct them how to lift and maneuver our items. My sons did a lot of the work to get the items out of the house; I could have just paid them. If it were not for them, we would have gone over with out time, and I was not going to kick out another RED CENT for this debacle of service. And I will never use them again, and will be sure tell others!
My walls scraped, and the footboard to my bed was nicked! I work very hard for the things that I have, and belived that I was getting "EXPERIENCED MOVERS", that would be quick, and knowledgeable to maneuver things. I feel that if I wanted to hire day laborers, that I could have found better ones on the side of the highway. It was a waste of money! And I wish that I could get my money back!!!

I hired two movers for two hours to unload a Uhaul truck. The movers arrived early and were very courteous. They were able to unload the entire truck in the two hour period. I would definitely recommend to others.

UCall & IHaul saved our move. We experienced a last minute snafu in our moving plans and called them for a same day move on Sunday! The owner was prompt and professional in his response to our online reservation. He sent us two great movers, Tony and Dejon (sp?) and they were professional and fast. In fact, as they were loading the truck I continued to add boxes causing Dejon to reorganize the packing of the truck. He was always courteous and continued to work quickly and efficiently. They also unloaded us later that day. We essentially spent the entire day with these guys and they maintained their courteous good nature throughout the move. I would highly recommend this company. When we have to move again I will call them.

My three workers were great. I had a lot a stuff to go into a 16 foot POD, but they took the time and effort to make everything fit. They were polite and professional. I would be great if HireAHelper updated the payment information, however. The rate for the third hour was more than was on the website. I was told that it is because that rate is only when the customer preorders the extra time. I was not aware of that. Anyway, they did such a good job and I am happy!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
They expect the initial phone call in timely manner to discuss the details of their move, time of arrival and what services we provide.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
We show up on time, introduce ourselves, do the complimentary walk through in order to get familiar with their residence and determine what items are going on a load and where items go on an unload.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
The best moves are a wonderful collaboration our moving skills, basic tools, and the customer provide equipment and protective materials such as moving blankets, stretch wrap, bubble wrap and mattress bags.
What types of moves have you handled?
We've been in business for more than 13 years over which time we've done local, long distance, and office moves. The majority of the moves have been local residential moves which is our core business.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
I was in the mortgage industry for almost 20 years when I started this company as a way to give my customers quality moves at an affordable price. I really enjoy walking into a home on a load job and their items are everywhere and in every room and watching the customer's face light up when we successfully empty the home into their moving truck safely and securely.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Each mover receives thorough class room policy and procedure training before they ever go out on a moving job. Then they get on going on the job practical training with regular assessments of their progress.
