They loaded the 8’ POD in less than an hour. We were worried that they were being reckless with our boxes, but everything arrived in perfect condition! They were efficient, friendly and professional! I would use this service again. ??

Had a crew of 3 that moved boxes and furniture into a 16ft pod and that was a tight pack. They crew did an excellent job covering the furniture, packing the pod with not one inch to spare. They were able to pack everything that was important to take. A couple odds and ends left behind didn't really matter. But they packed and repacked until all was on its way. Very thoughtful, caring, friendly, personalble, but most important excellent movers. Thank you for a great job completed!

The crew was 1he and 15 min late on Nov 14th and 45min late on Nov 15 this is not acceptable on the 14th I made Three calls to hire a helper
as the crew was not here at 12:59, 1:09 and 1:36
I even spoke with a manager and he assured me that this is not the way the business does business. Excuses 1) that they had called me ,( never happened as I had my phone on me as my husband and I started taking some stuff off the pod ourselves. 2) They were running late from another job( not my problem) 3) when the got here excuse was they had to go a different route as roads were out ( if they knew that they should have left earlier to accommodate that again not my problem) On the 15 I had anticipated that they would be in time as when I spoke to the management he assured me that it wouldn’t happen again and apologized multiple time but that wasn’t the case . Not here but the allotted timeframe we started again pulling stuff off the pod at 1:46 I went to call Hire a helper again as I was looking for the number to call they showed up. 1) excuse again was that they were coming from another state
to unload the pod and they had to take different routes because of the roads (again not my problem if they know this they should leave in enough time to accommodate this ) it’s called adulting get up in enough time to get ready, alot time for pick up for other crew and travel time ( and weather and different routes) since they obviously knew that that was a thing. Being in management for many years in retail I rarely excepted excuses for being late as an adult you should make time accommodations for all incidents to get yourself to work on time . In the 40years I worked I have never been late to work even when an overpass collapsed because of an earthquake and I had to take another route to get into work that added another 45min to my already 2plus hour drive just to get into work When I called to complain(right before my third is to be unloaded) I was given excuses after excuses and told this was they way it worked and basically I should accept the circumstances.I do not . As Hire a Helper contracts theses companies out and acts as the general contractor in doing so it is Hire a Helpers responsibility to make sure their contractors are on the the job on time . It shouldn’t be my responsibility to keep calling Hire a Helper to find out where my contractor's are and when they will be here. The fact that it happened twice
tells me that the contracted company did not take it seriously after the first time Hire a helper called and told them that their employees were extremely late as they were late the very next day . So , No I do not accept what the person I complained to said to me and offered as a consolation for the tardiness as I’m paying for two hours of work. Sincerely Sharon Osten
It is unacceptable for our crews to arrive late, especially after prior assurances were made. This is not the level of service we aim to provide.
I will personally escalate this to ensure that the concerns about crew timeliness and the lack of proactive updates are addressed and take corrective action to prevent this from happening again.

What's your favorite part about being a mover?
My favorite part about being a mover is meeting new people everyday. Some of these relationships have lasted over 15 years!
