A little late (understandable given the distance) but they were well prepared and packed it into the car quickly. However, they did surprise me with an extra man the morning of and requested an extra 25/hour for him. In addition, they stated that the tolls were not included in the price and asked for 60 more for that. I did feel that the foreman did not do much while packing the truck and felt that I had to ensure that he assisted in moving my things into the apartment. He was very nice and thoughtful overall though. I will not pay for an extra man for no reason and certainly not extra time. I did not have to in the end and the two men who came with them were excellent, hard workers and very thoughtful! Overall, I would use the service and would recommend it to my friends and family. All complaints included they worked quickly and had less bullsh*t/scammy crap than a lot of other moving companies will give you.

Sharp Van guys were great! They worked diligently to complete my move. Everything was carefully wrapped and protected. Nothing arrived bruised or broken. They took time to set up everything in my new apartment, placing everything exactly where I wanted it.

They sent 3 middle aged angry men. They complained the minute they arrived. They had a bad attitude and confrontational. I was embarrassed with my friends who were these to help. They dumped the boxes. Several items broke. They put in the wrong place mostly by the door. They were on their phones and smoking. They charged me $380 for boxes. And only accepted cash. They did not give me the rate per box. Items that were already boxed they put 2-3 boxes in another box and charged for it. Then they took away the wardrobe boxes without my authorization! It’s a scam. The owner is a rude obnoxious bully. They did the job very slow and then charged me more than double.

The movers from Sharp Van Lines arrived at my apartment between the time they promised (8-9 a.m., so 8:30 was perfect). The first thing I had to do was sign off on the order. As I had requested a third man, I understood the extra charges for him. One, mover Alex, was the supervisor but also helped with moving the cartons, oversized moving bags and pieces of furniture. They were doing two separate apartments (the other, my friend, who is also moving to same apartment) in the same vicinity. As I had done all the boxing and bagging, using my own cartons, all they needed to do was wrap pictures in blankets and secure them inside their truck. I didn't notice if they wrapped the small bookcases or credenza in any protection inside the truck; it certainly wasn't done prior to loading. Still, they arrived undamaged.
I had to follow them in my car, carrying their third mover as a passenger. As they had a truck which is not allowed on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn, they had to take the longer, more time-consuming route of local streets. I have to admit, I was pretty sure the cops would get me as I sped through quite a few red lights to keep up with their 16 foot truck!
At the end of the unloading process - they placed the cartons and furniture where directed - came payment, in cash, for the extra manpower, tolls, and any extras, along with tips for all three. What I should have received at that point is a carbon copy of the bill. I did not. Later in the day, I had to inquire about the charges. Hearing that I was charged for packing materials, I objected since Sharp did not provide any. Alex apologized and is refunding that excess fee. I also objected initially to the toll charges but withdrew that complaint since I didn't know toll rates for trucks on the (2) bridges taken. Alex did send me a photo image of the toll charges. Commendably, he does respond quickly to any issues raised. However, going forward, he should make sure the customer gets a copy of the bill once the move is finished.
Would I/we use them again? Maybe. My friend will decide. All I know is that he won't be needing a 16 foot truck or an extra helper.

Sharp Van Lines were great movers and gracefully handled a bunch of minor hiccups getting into my storage unit -- with no complaints! They filled a 5x15 storage unit to the top with all my stuff!
