I was very impressed with this service. I was in a pickle when when we determined there was just now way, the 3 of us could finish moving the rest of the stuff out of my house by 10:00a.m. the next morning. It was 10:00am, when I broke down and found HireAHelper on my phone. Taking a chance, I requested 2 helpers for 3 hours. I was called immediately and 2 helpers showed up by noon. They got immediately to work and when the 3 hours flew by, they indicated there would be no problem staying until we were done. If it was not for this service, I would not have met my deadline. The workers were hardworking and took good care of my belongings. I will definitely consider using this service again.

They came too early and I asked them if they saw a truck to unload, and they said no.. I told them they were not capable physically to do the job and they said they would go back to their office and send bigger guys, instead they went back any cancelled my job ad said I. didn't want the servive. So my truck sitting in front of my house for 7 hrs. Consequently most of my things melted and were ruined. The other service was very fast, didn't follow instructions and rushed to get our of here and didn't complete the job because it was so late. I bought them dinner and they left the garbage around outside the house.

They showed up an hour earlier which I had requested if possible. They did what was asked of them in a timely manner. I had them move furniture from the garage to house and house to curb for donation truck. They finished earlier than the two hour time slot. Would use them again as I needed someone to come the same day as I called for help and they were able to do so. This really was a plus for the company as many could not do so. Thumbs up from us!!!

Didn't show on moving day. Really thru us into a bind. Very dissapointed that they did not even call to tell us they were not coming. Called HireAHelper direct after a number of hours and they were able to find a replacement team quickly. Hopefully they will be arriving in a couple of hours.

After committing to a delivery time, they had to reschedule and then changed the time once again. I understand a crew having an emergency, but it's in their best interest to have a back-up plan when so many people depend on their reliability.

How should a customer prepare for moving day?
All we need, is anything on top of items that we are moving to be cleared off. Knowledge that they are providing the truck and any moving blankets needed. To be available for any questions that might come up and to be in earshot during their relaxation as we provide our services.
What types of moves have you handled?
All types of moves, local, long distance and especially specializing in office moves. Commercial moves, military moves, port moves. Hazardous material moves, structure moves and other various moves. We have moved things that truly we're not meant to be moved in one piece studio apartments the entire structure walls doors roof electricity plumbing everything. Photos if asked lol.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
Experiencing the look and feeling of the customer once they realize, everything they thought was possible is being done right in front of her eyes.
What training do you provide your crew members?
Hands-On with me on a job for weeks until they graduate to solo abilities. Unfortunately for them I contain 30 years of modular furniture experience insulation tear down and relocating and warehousing trashing out wiping down finished product. Executive offices $70,000 desks one little dent your life is over. That military training LOL it's passed down every single one of my employees because moving is easy if you do it right and it's hard to damage anything with blankets and knowledge truly
