I was supposed to get an ETA on the time the movers were arriving - I did not get any notification until I sent an email.
The movers did not follow instructions: I asked that a small desk be disassembled and the worker only detached the desk unit from the wall. When I asked him to further break it down, he left the hardware in the house on top of the mantle while the desk was loaded on the truck and didn't make any attempt to attach it to the desk for ease of re-assembly. Sloppy, sloppy work.
The team had a hard time with a treadmill and disassembled it two separate times to try to get it out of the house with no success. The crew of three spent two hours trying to figure this out. At one point, two of them were standing around watching one person try to reassemble the treadmill. I had to ask them to move other boxes into the storage containers to avoid wasting time while the one person was reassembling. Incidentally, a crew of two movers (whom I hired to disassemble the treadmill the next day) took ten minutes - three bolts on each side of the treadmill was all it took.
The worst part was the packing: the crew just threw items inside the storage containers and wasted a lot of space. Again, the crew of movers (there were three) that I hired the second day had to take two hours to REPACK the two containers. Items were not properly stacked, a bed frame was in two separate containers, etc. All these guys were interested in was leaving as quickly as they could after the contracted time frame. When the treadmill got difficult, their work got even more sloppy. They damaged walls and chipped the wood flooring in the house.
They put heavy items on a storage trunk that I labeled should not have items on top. NO attention to detail or instructions whatsoever, and no respect for my items.
I was so relieved they left, and knew the work couldn't possibly get done well unless I hired another crew, which was expensive but worth far more than the money i wasted on Amazing Movers.
I had initially planned on using this company on the "arrival" side of the move but have zero faith in them and will not consider this firm ever again.. This was a frustrating, disappointing experience and I don't recommend them to anyone. for a move, big or small.

Showed up almost two hours late but they came with an extra guy and got the job done with plenty of time to spare (they didn't charge me for the extra helper either). They took good care of everything and were very respectful. I have nothing bad to say about these guys and I would absolutely recommend .AmazingMovers.
