The were on time. Very patient when things didn’t go quite smoothly. Very understanding working with our apartment complex. Worked very diligently. I would definitely recommend them again.

They were on time but showed up with 3 instead of the 4 hired. We have an unvaxxed and vulnerable child, so we had requested and spoken with them twice prior to the move date that we would want them to wear masks. I had to constantly babysit the workers to ensure they wore the mask, but even then one of them wouldn’t wear it properly. They didn’t pack the PODS that well, so space was lost and we had to dump furniture that didn’t fit. I had instructed them prior to anything being loaded that there were some items we would be okay with parting if we needed to make space, they ignored me and loaded those first, so when we did run just short of space they complained and grumbled when I asked them to fish those items out as “it was too far back”. I had a moving box for my large 70” TV but they had started to just wrap it in blankets, ignoring that I had asked for it to be in the box. They also had the plug for the tv on the side with the screen, which would have damaged the screen if I had not caught that. They didn’t rope off anything inside of the pods, I had to hand them ratchet straps I bought and ask them to use them. I’d have to walk rooms that they said were done behind them only to find parts to the furniture they loaded being left behind, and pull those items out to the pod myself for them to load. I’ve moved several times between several states but this was by far the worst. The only competent member of the crew was Rodney, he was good, but the other two just didn’t seem to care at all.

I'm unhappy with A#1 Movers. They weren't careful with my furniture...I have gouged and chipped furniture. They also dragged furniture across my floor marring the surface.
They also didn't take my boxes where I wanted them. I had to recarry and take to the correct rooms.

Worst moving experience ever!!!! Do not use this moving company! If it could happen it did. Started this experience with PODs being delivered and movers took 3 days to load three Pods. Should have taken 6 hours. We paid for 4 men for 6 hours. They arrived with 3 men and one was very I’ll and had to leave. So 2 men that could not do the job. 2nd day again promised 4 men and only 3 men showed and left after 2 hours. Still not done loading the PoDs. Third day 3 men again not 4. One mover is brand new and was horribly clumsy and was not careful with walls, floors or furniture. Boxes were crushed and furniture was not wrapped to protect. Worst experience ever!!!! My husband and I are in our 50’s and eventually had to rent a uhaul truck and moved ourselves as the new owners of our home were on their way to move in. Ugh!!! Worst moving company!!!!

Arrival window as 11-12, they showed up at 12:45 so 45 minutes late.
They clocked out at 1:45. I thought I was paying for 2 guys x 2 hours but only got 2 guys for 1 hour. Seems quite expensive.
The guys themselves were strong and fast and filled up the POD pretty well.
Unsure if I'd use again, probably shop around more.
