The guys were nice, but appeared unprepared for the job. They made multiple comments that made my wife uncomfortable e.g. “wow yall have a lot of stuff”, “man I’m tired”.
We paid the 4hr minimum with the understanding that they would only be there for a couple of hours. I made this clear when I submitted my booking. The shift was for 6p-10p. They arrived close to 7p and we were done before 9p.
I’m happy we cut them early because they had no clear intention, or energy, of staying until 10pm. Now granted, me and a friend gave them a hand the entire time and this was after I drove the moving truck for 10 hrs across the country.
Upon leaving, one of the gentlemen made sure to insist on me leaving them a tip for their service, which seemed odd since I’m paying for more than an hour of work that they didn’t have to do…… anyways ….
Overall the service by Texas Top Tier was subpar. The team was late, but honestly if they had the work ethic to be willing to help until 10p as contracted then it wouldn’t be an issue. The issue is that they were ready to clock out the moment they clocked in. I definitely don’t feel like I got my moneys worth but at this point it is what it is.

When a customer books with TTT expect professionalism across the board. You will receive consistent communication answering all questions, concerns and providing recommendations as needed. Customers are encouraged to give additional details they feel is relevant to the move.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
On moving day you can expect... * updates on arrival times. *Movers will show up on time with positive attitudes ready to see your move through.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To ensure you get the most out of your moving experience we recommend: *Packing all small/ loose items. *Label all fragile boxes (Preferably on multiple sides) *Emptying out dressers/hutches. (Doing so helps prevents damage) *Provide or request moving blankets to protect furniture. *Provide or request ropes or straps. (to stabilize with)
What types of moves have you handled?
Our crew has handled moves of all calibers from simple rearrangements to short term moves to multi-stop moves to long distance moves. We have dealt with: *moving an individual into a studio apartment *families into their first homes *Moves in mansions/ large estates (largest to date is 80 acre property!) *Medical and business offices, Restaurants, gyms.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
As movers our favorite part of the move is the relief, instilled confidence and joy we bring our clients when they see that they are in good hands. There are tons of reasons why moves are stressful, we're glad we can do our part to make the loading and unloading portions the easy part for you!
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are required to undergo our "rookie-vet" training. Our "rookies" are required to join one of our seasoned crews. During this time learning moving techniques and ideologies is their main focus while assisting our "vets". -Side note: When you see an extra mover on the job don't worry, there is no additional cost to you!
