Thanks to the team who came to unload our POD, they have made a very good job, very fast and professional. It's the second time I use their services (same team) and I really recommend them.

I used Hire a Helper to pack many household items and to load the POD. The two-man crew was on time and went straight to work. They were well organizer in their approach to each task before them.
They never stopped until the job was done.
With regard to loading the POD, the true test is how well things were tied down against movement during transit. It appeared that they did a good job, but the truth will not be known until the POD is unpacked at its new location.

I hired Top Tier Movers to unload a 2 bedroom apartment with washer and dryer. They let me know 2 days in advance that they would have to reschedule my time, in case it didn't fit my schedule (luckily it did) and I would have had 2 days to find someone else(I've had movers cancel on me the day of in the past). My time slot was for 2 hours and they worked very proficiently and finished everything right on time, didn't go over at all. AND I moved to the second floor and it was very hot in Texas and they still got everything taken care of very quickly. The men were very friendly and personable and put everything where I wanted instead of putting anything anywhere. They set up my king size adjustable bed. All without going over my time. Highly recommend!

The two men showed up on time and had great attitudes. However, they packed inefficiently and didn't know basic things like knot-tying. They used boxes marked FRAGILE as base boxes under heavier boxes. I unpacked and repacked a POD and fit 25 more boxes into the container. They need much more guidance and training from their company.

On moving day you can expect... * updates on arrival times. *Movers will show up on time with positive attitudes ready to see your move through.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
To ensure you get the most out of your moving experience we recommend: *Packing all small/ loose items. *Label all fragile boxes (Preferably on multiple sides) *Emptying out dressers/hutches. (Doing so helps prevents damage) *Provide or request moving blankets to protect furniture. *Provide or request ropes or straps. (to stabilize with)
What types of moves have you handled?
Our crew has handled moves of all calibers from simple rearrangements to short term moves to multi-stop moves to long distance moves. We have dealt with: *moving an individual into a studio apartment *families into their first homes *Moves in mansions/ large estates (largest to date is 80 acre property!) *Medical and business offices, Restaurants, gyms.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
As movers our favorite part of the move is the relief, instilled confidence and joy we bring our clients when they see that they are in good hands. There are tons of reasons why moves are stressful, we're glad we can do our part to make the loading and unloading portions the easy part for you!
What training do you provide your crew members?
All crew members are required to undergo our "rookie-vet" training. Our "rookies" are required to join one of our seasoned crews. During this time learning moving techniques and ideologies is their main focus while assisting our "vets". -Side note: When you see an extra mover on the job don't worry, there is no additional cost to you!
