I received great moving support from Washington Moving Labor Services today. The entire experience could not have gone better. William and Steven called in advance to confirm, arrived on time, and worked hard for the entire two hours for which I contracted. Given the amount of furniture to be disassembled and relocated to the garage, I was fully expecting that my on-premises move would take more time. But they worked fast and efficiently and even finished a bit early. They arrived with a really positive attitude and a willingness to do whatever was needed, so they made what I thought was going to be an afternoon-long ordeal into a smooth and easy experience. When the painters and carpet folks are done, I will definitely contact Washington Moving Labor Services again to see if William and Steven can come back to help put the house back together!

1. The crew had established excellent communications with the Project Coordinator. They were late in arriving due to overwhelming traffic problems in the Seattle Metro area. 2. They were prepared for the job. They called days before the project to see if there were any additional requirements that they might encounter - which was a plus to me. 3. Once they did their initial walk-through, they immediately went to work with minimal supervision. 4. Some of the furniture was old and separating at the joints which was brought to my attention early-on. 5. The crew responded well to wrapping up parts of the furniture to offer it greater protection. 6. They communicated well amongst each other and went to work quickly. This is the second time we hired this same crew to load a container for moving to our new home. They are very prompt, do a great job fitting things into every inch of the container, & are careful with the items. I had art pieces so had to discuss how they should be treated; they were very respectful of this. I was impressed both times with how cheerful they were even after working hours without a break. I would certainly hire them again.

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After a client books with us we put you on our schedule and then we always call the client as the move gets close and confirm the details of the move to make sure that we fully understand the scope of the work to be performed. It's very important that we are on the same page with our clients and so we have learned through the years what the most important questions are to ask and facets of the move to go over with our clients.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
When it is move day for our clients we always call our clients when we are on our way to let them know we are on track for the move. We know how stressful it is to move and so we do everything we can to decrease the stress of our clients and this is one way we do that so they know they don't need to worry about us not showing up.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
It's very important that the client be as prepared for the move as much as possible to make sure that the move will go smoothly. The more packed up all the small items that need to go in boxes the faster the move will go which will end up saving you money on the move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have helped nearly 5,000 moves since our company was founded in 2013. We have come across many types of situations over the years. We mostly do residential moves with standard household items. We have loaded and unloaded a great many POD's, ABF containers, U-pack cubes, U-haul trucks, Penske trucks, and Budget trucks for local moves and interstate moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We love that we get to be the hero's of the moving world. We believe that we make a huge difference in the lives of the people in our community by providing the best possible customer experience to meet and exceed our clients expectations. We really feel like we show up and save the day by relieving the stress of our clients on a very stressful day of their lives and as we all know stress kills so we think we are saving lives :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
We have developed a 100 page training manual for our movers that we methodically keep track of where they are on their training. We also make sure that we are putting the new movers on the more simple jobs at first until they gain more experience. most of our movers have been with us for years and so they are very experienced and can handle most any situation that comes their way. The newer movers we always pair up with the experienced guys whenever they are on the more complicated and larger moves.
