They were on time and worked hard. They were respectful of our property and I would use them again. We did have a unique issue with getting large heavy furniture lowered from a second floor balcony using a material lift. They were not experienced with doing this type of a task and the move was delayed as they determined whether they were willing to take the liability risk. They were not, so I had to scramble to get enough friends over to do the lowering of the furniture. This could have been catastrophic and could have been avoided had they sent someone to understand the requirement in advance. Unique requirements need to be well communicated so they totally understand what is involved. Ultimately all worked out, although considerable stress was introduced.

I think their names were Andrew and Brett. They were fantastic. They were on time and they handled everything. They even stuck to my time schedule. I couldn't ask for more help. They were pleasant and went the extra mile even helping me get the rental truck back to U-Haul. I would adopt these guys in a minute that's how great they were! I hope that I can use them again.

The two gentlemen that assisted me were very good. Unfortunately because I removed most of the items from the UHaul, the two men only brought in a few items. They assisted in setting up the furniture and was very polite. I would recommend them as they were very efficient. If more work was done I believe I could give a better review.

Two really nice guys arrived to do the moving. They were great. Super-careful with everything and pretty much geniuses at figuring out how to pack everything in without wasting an inch.
Some of the larger items were measured and announced they should fit by 1/2”.
And they did. I?made sure to get names so I could request the same guys again.
Couldn’t ask for a better moving experience.

Three (at my request) very nice young men showed up and did an awesome job of moving my stuff. They were quick, hard working, and very well spoken. They were very careful with my belongings, and each one had good ideas for how safely tie my very large workshop shelving in the PODS container to make them stable, and in how to make best use of the packing space overall. They were so good, I gave them each an extra tip. I have already scheduled to use them again in several weeks. So glad that HireAHelper was recommended to me.

The guys were terrific! Personable, professional & very willing to help us with whatever was needed. They were great with our dogs & very considerate of our belongings & apartment. We enjoyed talking with them as we all worked & it made a otherwise tedious job enjoyable. We would absolutely hire them again & give them an A+ . They called ahead, arrived on time & came prepared with dolly, hand truck, etc. We have two flights of stairs in a townhouse so they were moving furniture & lots of boxes (many of them quite heavy). They were strong, enthusiastic & cheerful--great job!

What can a customer expect after booking with you?
After a client books with us we put you on our schedule and then we always call the client as the move gets close and confirm the details of the move to make sure that we fully understand the scope of the work to be performed. It's very important that we are on the same page with our clients and so we have learned through the years what the most important questions are to ask and facets of the move to go over with our clients.
What can a customer expect on moving day if they hire you?
When it is move day for our clients we always call our clients when we are on our way to let them know we are on track for the move. We know how stressful it is to move and so we do everything we can to decrease the stress of our clients and this is one way we do that so they know they don't need to worry about us not showing up.
How should a customer prepare for moving day?
It's very important that the client be as prepared for the move as much as possible to make sure that the move will go smoothly. The more packed up all the small items that need to go in boxes the faster the move will go which will end up saving you money on the move.
What types of moves have you handled?
We have helped nearly 5,000 moves since our company was founded in 2013. We have come across many types of situations over the years. We mostly do residential moves with standard household items. We have loaded and unloaded a great many POD's, ABF containers, U-pack cubes, U-haul trucks, Penske trucks, and Budget trucks for local moves and interstate moves.
What's your favorite part about being a mover?
We love that we get to be the hero's of the moving world. We believe that we make a huge difference in the lives of the people in our community by providing the best possible customer experience to meet and exceed our clients expectations. We really feel like we show up and save the day by relieving the stress of our clients on a very stressful day of their lives and as we all know stress kills so we think we are saving lives :)
What training do you provide your crew members?
We have developed a 100 page training manual for our movers that we methodically keep track of where they are on their training. We also make sure that we are putting the new movers on the more simple jobs at first until they gain more experience. most of our movers have been with us for years and so they are very experienced and can handle most any situation that comes their way. The newer movers we always pair up with the experienced guys whenever they are on the more complicated and larger moves.
